Kathryn V. White’s creativity takes form as fiction, non-fiction, poetry, collage, mixed media, paper cutting, and paintings. Her creations are infused with insight, joy, vibrancy, and love. Through reading and hearing her writings as well as seeing her creations, one feels an inner and outer expansion of perceiving and being.

She has traveled in Europe, China, New Zealand, and North America. She has also camped and hiked in Alaska, swum with dolphins in New Zealand, enjoyed Huichol art in Mexico, and bicycled cross-country in the USA with two women friends.

My life journey has been really challenging and yet, if I had given up, I would have never experienced some of the things that have given me great joy. For example, as a child, I struggled with learning disabilities that included double vision and reading backwards. Yet, I ended up attending some of the best schools in the world and I love to read and write.

Commit to your dreams and take consistent actions to make them come true. They may not always turn out exactly as you envisioned (or they might!), but either way, you'll feel more fulfilled and excited about living.(less)

Since …moreCurrently, I'm working on a second book. This one includes daily contemplations and inquiries or actions linked to that specific contemplation. Since people are very busy these days and yet really want to create some time for reflection/contemplation/mediation, I'm creating these contemplations to be little nuggets of wisdom of 10 sentences or less. I'm also hoping to get back to my short stories. So many ideas and so little time!(less)

Ex Libris Paper Cut Bookplates Tour the USA

Picture Cosmic Explorer Paper Cut Book Plate by Kathryn V. White Curated by Rebecca Raupach, Ex Libris is a Guild of American Papercutters show that was held at the GAP’s National Museum in Somerset, Pennsylvania from September 2020 through November 2020.
