Perhaps best known for his blog 365 Days of the Dead (in which he watched and reviewed a zombie film each day for a year), Scott Emerson has appeared in Weird Tales’ “One Minute” video series, Everyday Weirdness, Mad Rush, Innsmouth Free Press, Bizarro Central, and the anthologies Westward Hoes, The Big Book of Bizarro, Putrid Poems & Sickening Sketches, and Poetry from the Grave. Currently he serves as facilitator for Morgantown Poets, a not-for profit group that hosts free literary events. He lives in Pennsylvania.

Lots of love for this book here, but unfortunately none of the stories worked for me.

I'd recommend Michael Arnzen's 100 JOLTS or HINT FICTION edited by Robert Swartwood for examples of abbreviated storytelling with more depth, nuance, and ingenuity.
