Born in 1964, Teresa Robeson was lucky enough to view the first lunar landing and be raised on a healthy dose of Star Trek. This series of fortunate events turned her into a total nerd/geek-girl who loves to write and read science fiction, science, and modern fantasy. She also has a life-long love of children's lit, having never really grown up. Her stories and poems have appeared in publications for children and adults, such as Babybug, Ladybug and Outdoor Indiana magazines.

Books are there to tell a great story which usually means it's full of strife and conflict. And I don't do well with strife and conflict in my own life. :D As the saying goes, better the devil you know than the devil you don't know. I'll stick with my world, however flawed it may be. (less)

She never told me exactly what happened since, even 60+ years later, she couldn't talk about the experience. I think whatever happened would make for a gripping novel. (less)

“I thought you just told me they used radio.”

They do, but what do you think is on the radio? Meat sounds. You know how when you slap or flap meat, it makes a noise? They talk by flapping their meat at each other. They can even sing by squirting air through their meat.”

“In the midst of winter, I found there was, within me, an invincible summer.

And that makes me happy. For it says that no matter how hard the world pushes against me, within me, there’s something stronger – something better, pushing right back.”
