Louise Lundberg Claesen is from Copenhagen, Denmark. She holds an MA in Comparative Literature from the University of Copenhagen. Most of her childhood summers were spent in France where she developed a particular fondness for Paris. Louise's first book, the psychological novel of growth "Camille", is set in Paris.

In addition to "Camille", Louise has published a collection of poems, "Hannah's Song", about a woman's love for and unification with the divine. As in the "Song of Solomon" in "The Old Testament" and as described by Christian mystics the woman in the poems experiences this merging with the divine as deeply erotic.
