Hi Kushal,
My apologies for the delay in responding to your question. In my defense, I only saw it today.
First of all, thanks for the compliment. I am more than glad that you loved my quotes. Day-to-day events inspire me to write such quotes. Sometimes in the midst of a conversation a quote might strike your grey cells; at other times, enjoying a quiet time alone, pondering upon life you come up with such lines. So, this is my answer in a nutshell- when my mind isn't tamed, I come up with such lines. (less)
Sanhita Baruah Haha... thanks :-) Pictures can be deceiving, a poem is a better reflection of a poet's mind. If you find it beautiful, I am more than elated.

I was filmed at my own house few months back... Did the Me Too Movement really work?

Most evenings tension lines form on my forehead. Most nights I can’t sleep well. I make sure the door is locked, I make sure the windows are closed, the curtains are drawn, and one or two lights remain turned on.I don’t know if growing up means living in fear because you know too many truths about how the world works. I am not sure if I can call myself very practical or a little paranoid. They... Read more of this blog post »

Small is Big Voume 2 is even better than the first 1. The stories are more gripping and more evil this time. Each micro-tale made me stop and think for a while. Binge-reading is the best way to read this one while taking some time on hand to delve in ...more

Sanhita Baruah

“It is not as much about who you used to be, as it is about who you choose to be.”
Sanhita Baruah

“I loved him the way some people are to be loved - from a distance.”
Sanhita Baruah

“I was full of a hot, powerful sadness and would have loved to burst into the comfort of tears, but tried hard not to, remembering something my Guru once said -- that you should never give yourself a chance to fall apart because, when you do, it becomes a tendency and it happens over and over again. You must practice staying strong, instead.”
Elizabeth Gilbert, Eat, Pray, Love

“I’m here. I love you. I don’t care if you need to stay up crying all night long, I will stay with you. If you need the medication again, go ahead and take it—I will love you through that, as well. If you don’t need the medication, I will love you, too. There’s nothing you can ever do to lose my love. I will protect you until you die, and after your death I will still protect you. I am stronger than Depression and I am braver than Loneliness and nothing will ever exhaust me.”
Elizabeth Gilbert, Eat, Pray, Love

“What if you wake up one fine morning only to realize that the life you have been living since the last few days was nothing but a dream of yours?

Would you go back to sleep then?

I wake up each morning only to realize you're not by my side. And if this emptiness is nothing but a nightmare, let me wake up and go back to the time we were together...”
Sanhita Baruah

“It’s not TIME that heals everything, it is SLEEP...

Sleeping is the perfect answer to all doubts and troubles.

Leaving the world of reality behind and disappearing in to a world of make-believe and imaginations, is a solace you get from nothing else...”
Sanhita Baruah, Uff Ye Emotions

“For grief has always been so dear to you that you would make me writhing in pain in the brothel of your imaginations than to be playing with a bunch of balloons in the yard where I should have been."
"And may be that's why, you'd rather talk to me about this, than to write a story about me where I could live happily.”
