For instance, community lore has always said Dr. O went to medical school at Oxford University, England, upon the invitation of the Prince of Wales whom he met on the 1860 Royal Tour of Canada. But it seems more likely he was invited by the Prince's personal physician (an instructor in medicine at Oxford) and perhaps never even met the Prince. (less)
