Owner of the Lady J's Pawsome Blog.

I write romantic suspense and sci-fantasy. Under my pen name, Lady Jaguar, I also write MM romance.

The Pawsome blog reviews books mainly written by indie authors. They appear both on my own website (https://www.jaynelockwood.com) and the Lady J's Pawsome Readers Facebook Group.

I also write reviews for WROTE Podcast, a queer forum for storytelling of all types under the LGBTQIA umbrella, and for Gay Book Promotions

There are no rules to my writing, apart from needing an HEA. I cannot write a story without one. My characters are a diverse mix of gender and sexuality. Basically, I write what I enjoy and hope people like it!

The worst thing you can do is not write, in my opinion. It doesn't have to be about that particular thing you are struggling with. It can be something completely different, but whatever it is, the creative juices are flowing and it takes you far enough away from the problem that you can see it more clearly. I've always find that, anyway. And you might have something you can use later - a poem, something for your blog, a snippet of another book. The important thing is to keep the words flowing.(less)

You create whole worlds and characters, put words in their mouths, put them in situations and see how they react. Sometimes they can surprise you.

And great reviews. That is a fantastic feeling, when someone you will never know or meet actually bothers to write a wonderful review. Best. Feeling. Ever.(less)

Review – Nefarious Echoes by Catrin Russell

This was another incredible instalment in The Light of Darkness series, where we follow the lives of Anaya the Priestess and Samael her demon lover, who are now leaders of the House of Fahd. Various factions have issues with both the Fahd panther tribe and the leaders themselves. In the meantime, a group of mercenaries is spreading death and destruction throughout the land, via a lethal powder, on

Meg by Steve Alten
He's probably 16 now but I would have let him read it, definitely. Yes there's a bit a language, some sexual references, but nothing explicit. and If my 11 year old had the reading level to cope with this, I'd be exceptionally happy!

Jayne Is following the same as friending? Aargh I'm confused! Don't want to appear aloof, just don't know what the hell I'm doing. I'll get there... In the meantime, here is a cheeky link, before someone slaps me down and says its against Goodreads etiquette ...

Actually no, I've changed my mind. Show some class, woman!

message 3: by Jayne

Jayne I'm kind of throwing this out there, as I'm new and I'm not sure how Goodreads works just yet. I love books, I love writing, and I love giving opinions that probably nobody wants. If you want to catch my blog, the link is http://www.jaynelockwood.com/diary/ or if you just want to chew the fat over books, that's cool too. Happy reading and writing!
