Michele Garber grew up in northern Indiana, which should not be held entirely accountable for the products of her imagination. She earned her master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and although quite close to finishing her doctorate, decided to take her own advice for a change and pursue her true and secret dream of being a writer. Her first published short story, "Tequila Sunset," was included in the WAR OF THE WORLDS: FRONTLINES anthology by Northern Frights Publishing. You can also find her work in the SPLATTERLANDS anthology by Grey Matter Press and THE GROTESQUERIE, a collection of horror written by women to celebrate Women in Horror Month.

But if there’s one thing I’ve learned, life takes you to strange places, some wonderful and some terrible, others just plain bizarre.

Sometimes it’s all three…...

More of Michele's books…
“To write freely is to walk a joyous, terrifying, exhilarating path naked through the world of the fully clothed.”
Michele Garber

“Never, never, never give in!”
Winston S. Churchill

“Follow your bliss.
If you do follow your bliss,
you put yourself on a kind of track
that has been there all the while waiting for you,
and the life you ought to be living
is the one you are living.
When you can see that,
you begin to meet people
who are in the field of your bliss,
and they open the doors to you.
I say, follow your bliss and don't be afraid,
and doors will open
where you didn't know they were going to be.
If you follow your bliss,
doors will open for you that wouldn't have opened for anyone else.”
Joseph Campbell
