Good Friday morning! It has been a beautiful week here in Huntsville! Yesterday, my husband and I took a drive through the valley and across the mountain where we grew up to admire the beautiful fall colors. It was really lovely! Shiver! It is cold this morning! What a great day I had yesterday! My sweetie pie grandbaby spent the morning with me. She is so precious! The final trim is going up in the kitchen. We have almost everything back in the cabinets. What a relief! It looks beautiful and, more importantly, it’s really functional.

I am so glad it’s finally Friday. This has been a crazy week! The kitchen cabinets and the countertops are in. Tomorrow the sink will finally be usable! I am so thankful! We actually have a stove again and a fridge that’s not in the dining room. Believe me, there were moments when I wondered why in the world we started this–oh wait, because the kitchen floor had to be replaced! Ah, the fun of owning an old house. Old houses need extra TLC.
