Updates June 2014
First- This Friday I’m taking part in a facebook event and a big sale going on with sixteen indie authors of YA, paranormal, horror, and fantasy novels. It is a great time to check out some new books, and maybe stop by the facebook pages and talk to the authors of all these great books. Carnelian will be on sale Friday. I will be on facebook at the party on and off all day but for sure between the hours of 3-6pm EST with authors Patti Larsen, Intisar Khanani, J.M. Pierce, Karice Bolton, Elle Casey. Second- Becoming a Legend has been released as an audiobook and will be available any day now on amazon. If you are into audiobooks- both The Legend of the Blue Eyes and Becoming a Legend are out. Winning the Legend should be out in a couple months. Any bloggers that are interested in reviewing audiobooks can contact me at website@bkristinmcmichael.com. I have a few free codes for Audible.com to give away if you want to review The Legend of the Blue Eyes.

Updates- May 2014
Hello All,
I am busy at work writing and thought I should take a break to tell everyone what is coming up.
For my books- Chrysoprase (Book 2 of The Chalcedony Chronicles) – is with the editor right now. The cover reveal wad last Friday. I am excited to finish this up and get it released as soon as I can. I am aiming for a summer release end of June or beginning of July. It’s going to be on sale for the first weekend it’s available, so if you join my mailing list I’ll let you know when it comes out. Mari’s adventure just gets more exiting and more complicated as she has to include an old boyfriend in her travels and is trying to reunite with loved ones. I will apologize in advance that the end is a bit of a cliffhanger, but I kind of getting the feeling her life will always be a bit of a cliffhanger! While Chrysoprase is at the editor, I am hard at work on The Day Human King. It is always fun to get back to Devin and see where his life will go. I wish I had more time in the day to write and I could get these books out faster! I’ve had a tremendous positive response for Devin’s first book. Thank you all for your reviews!!!
This summer I will be at Utopya Con. I have a table in area 51 1/2 (Friday only) so if you want to meet me- make sure to stop by. It is a great conference that is small enough where you can meet the indie authors you want to meet and not feel intimidated! There is a great list of panelists this year, and I recommend it to anyone getting into the writing world- or those that are just fans.

Book Blast-Giveaways- New trailer
Hello Everyone!!
The Day Human Prince came out this month and has a trailer up. Check it out and see what a good job my hubby did! Love being married to a computer person- makes all this SO much easier.

Day Human Prince Ebook is out!
ON SALE for fans- this weekend only!!
Devin’s story is finally out!! It’s a little later than planned, but I wanted it to be the best I could give you with an extra proofing. For those of you who have read The Blue Eyes Trilogy – this book picks up right where the last one left off- but this time we get to follow Devin and find out what happens to him when Arianna no longer needs him.
I first envisioned just a book to tie up Devin’s story, but there ended up being so much more to tell that it will be three books. The first of the trilogy will be out this weekend at a special price through April 13th. So help me celebrate a new tale and get a good deal. Below is the summary.

March Updates.....
I’m pleased to announce that my first audiobook is out. The Legend of the Blue Eyes has been narrated by Caprisha Page is available for anyone who wants to hear the world of the night humans brought to life by a skilled voice actor. The whole process was scary for me but my hubby handled most of it and now it is ready and good to go. I don’t know what I’d do without him. It is available now at Amazon/Audible. As soon as I can, I plan to run a giveaway for the audiobook :)
Also, The Day Human Prince is getting ready for publication. We are just in the last few steps to get it out there. It will be on sale for the first weekend- so make sure to watch for it, or join my mailing list to get the updates when it first goes out and know immediately when it is on sale. I can’t wait for everyone to see how Devin’s world changes and how he deals with Nessa and her people. It is fun to write in the same world, but with different characters.
Finally, I am hard at work on the next book of The Chalcedony Chronicles, titled Chrysoprase. I even have the cover already. We hope to do a cover real in the next month and a half and I can’t wait to show everyone the new pretty cover Gothic Fate made for me. Mari’s journey continues as she tries to get the people she loves back and has to deal with a person from her past that wants to help.

Updates.....
Two exciting updates to tell everyone about.
First off, my book "The Legend of the Blue Eyes" will be coming out in March in an audio book. I believe it will be mid- or late March that it will be up on Amazon, Audible, and iTunes. We have an amazing voice actress who is hard at work getting it all recorded for us. We had not considered an audio book when we started our publishing journey, but once we looked into it, we ended up with several auditions to choose from. I have not listened to it, but my hubby said it sounds great. (I’m still trying to get over having fans read my writing- I don’t know if the weird feeling will ever go away. People want to read my books?? What?? No way!!- at least that is how is goes in my head when I get reviews and requests for my books. It's even weirder to hear a stranger read my words back to me in an audiobook.)
The second exciting bit of news is that the first book of Devin’s spin off trilogy is with the editor. We are getting ready to release The Day Human Prince in late March. For all those Devin fans out there- yes, he gets a spinoff, and it isn’t just one book. I figured he needs his own trilogy. The cover was made by Ravven, and I am so excited to show everyone!! She did the covers for The Blue Eyes Trilogy and this one is just as great. The cover reveal is through YA Bound Book Tours and will be on Feb 28th. In just one week I get to hear what everyone thinks of my latest cover. I can’t wait to show everyone!!
PS: I am hard at work on Chrysoprase (the second book in The Chalcedony Chronicles) for all you Seth and Mari fans. I promise it will be out this summer….. can’t wait to get that out there for everyone too. I wish the day had more time and I could spend hours writing every day!!

Mari is a young woman headed off to college. She's lived a typical and unremarkable life; until she becomes the object of desire of the hunky star quarterback who's known for adding notches to his bedpost. Mari commits herself to resist him, but that's not so easy when you're stuck together on the campus of a tiny and remote liberal arts college. Eventually she begins to realize that maybe he isn't who he seems, and that perhaps neither is she.

New Book coming Jan 10th
I’ve had some ups and downs this year but I will have to say that writing and publishing my novels has been a great up for me. I have met so many new people and have had so many encouraging words to keep me going on this endeavor.
I have been busy this fall and winter with my writing. The Blue Eyes trilogy finished up early this fall, but I felt like the story wasn’t done- at least not for Devin. He is getting his own trilogy and the first book will be out in the spring (aiming for a March release).
In January I’ll be releasing the first of a completely new series. The Chalcedony Chronicles will follow a young lady as she goes off to college and finds that the future and the past are very fluid concepts when you can travel through time.
The first book, “Carnelian” will be out Jan 10th and the second book to hopefully follow some time in the summer.
