Author with Limitless Publishing. I love reading and writing, especially YA fiction. I have self-published and also used a traditional publisher. Each experience has brought new knowledge and new friendships.

When I'm not chasing after my kids or writing, I enjoy painting, drawing, listening to music, and watching horror movies. I am also a rare disease advocate, a gardener, and a believer in true love.

I took the story to a darker place. It was necessary to foster growth in my characters and lead them to the next part of their journey. The story was easy to write as there was much conflict & I very much enjoy writing conflict.

With 13: An Anthology of Horror and Dark Fiction, readers are given a variety of dark/horror stories to enjoy right before the Halloween season. As more of a dark reader, I naturally gravitated towards those, however..." Read more of this review »

"Wow! This book was really good. I loved Rarity, but this one is different - in a good way. It's edgy and dark, with a paranormal twist. It's mystical and mysterious, keeping me intrigued page by page.

“Write it on your heart
that every day is the best day in the year.
He is rich who owns the day, and no one owns the day
who allows it to be invaded with fret and anxiety.

Finish every day and be done with it.
You have done what you could.
Some blunders and absurdities, no doubt crept in.
Forget them as soon as you can, tomorrow is a new day;
begin it well and serenely, with too high a spirit
to be cumbered with your old nonsense.

This new day is too dear,
with its hopes and invitations,
to waste a moment on the yesterdays.”
Ralph Waldo Emerson, Collected Poems and Translations

“Accept the children the way we accept trees—with gratitude, because they are a blessing—but do not have expectations or desires. You don’t expect trees to change, you love them as they are.”
