I've only had Founders beer a handful of times. But they're headed our way in late April! I'm looking forward to finding a few new favorites!

My heart breaks as I tell everyone that #getwellDirk is now #RIPDIRKTALAMASCA. He passed away surrounded by his family today.

But Google autoawsome'd the photos to make it look that way. This is Sadie, my littlest niece. Ain't she cute?

Pre-9/11 airport experience?
No idea WTF happened, but I was just whisked through TSA at MCO (Orlando). Shoes? They stay on. Lappy? Keep it in your bag. Jacket? Keep it on. Toiletries? Within your bag, please. And welcome aboard!
Sign of things to come? #wecanonlyhope
I'll stop bitching about Florida now.

Will the public give up on space?
Fact: most commercial space initiatives will never launch. Some border on pure fantasy. Others will fail to gather the necessary funds. And expect loads to be scrapped due to real-world challenges that were missed in the design phase. Failure is real and imminent.
The article below asserts that these impending failures will damage the overall reputation of commercial space initiatives in the minds of the public. I tend to agree, but we have a larger problem:
Most people think all commercial space flight is a farce.
I hesitate to say most, as I've done no polling to validate my assertion. But ask around to your less-than-scientifically-literate friend-set, and you'll notice a pattern of ignorance.
To me, that's hurdle number one. Reputation management? That's a problem to be solved in five years. If we're lucky.
