Here is another one, Sanjay. An amazing awakening in Aubra Dawn's life.

Letter from Aubra Dawn

Dear Ellis, I'm almost done with your book and this prayer is exactly what the Father left on my heart thus far. Psalm 37:3-5 I read on your page weeks ago and am seeking it's individual meaning in my personal life, and He answered me through your testimony.

THE LORD WANTS MORE FOR ME THAN TO JUST CROSSING THE JORDAN. HE WANTS ME TO POSSESS MY PROMISED INHERITANCE AND LIVE MY PROMISED LIFE!!!!

Ellis, I am stoked about Christ Jesus revealing this to me but as you know all too well I am scared too. Please pray for me and my deeper walk with Christ. My faith and trust in God have been getting some cardio lately and I feel Him preparing me for a marathon that I never want to stop running! Just like in your book before you switched jobs you felt a big change coming. So have I the last year but heavily since the beginning of 2016 and not only did I get laid off from perfect employment of 4 years, He has provided for every single need for my children and just like He said He would and my doorway to my promise land is within grasp. I NEED PRAYER FOR FAITH Ellis please!!

I've always believed the infamous lie from Satan that a little feels amazing cause it's better than nothing but God wants me to have it all so I'm scared that I don't have what it takes and that I can't do it and I'll let God down. OK almost 4 in the morning and God (literally) only knows how long this message is cause I'm on fire for Him and I'm just typing away and it's 4 a.m. and I'm super tired so I'll stop repeating myself and hit post. I'm not even gonna proofread!

Morning Prayer – I know the Plans I Have for You says the Lord
“Dear Gracious, Omniscience, and Compassionate Heavenly Father,

“Father, as I sit here this morning contemplating the day ahead, I freely acknowledge my need for strength and understanding. The trials and difficulties that surround us seem at times to take up so much of our thoughts and prayers. So Father, I ask that You would give me a deeper understanding to know how and what to pray and that Your word would speak wisdom and discernment into my heart and mind!”

“David recorded this promise in Psalm 37:3-5: “Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land, and feed on His faithfulness. Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He shall give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, trust also in Him, and He shall bring it to pass!”

“Your instructions for us are to commit our ways to the Lord, a life decision to follow Jesus Christ no matter what the cost and no matter who approves or disapproves of that decision. Next, You instruct us to trust Your plan throughout all the various seasons of life to include joy and pain, countless trials and difficult circumstances, and to not think it strange concerning the fiery trials which are to try us as though some strange thing happened to us; but rejoice to the extent that we partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, we may also be glad with exceeding joy (1 Peter 4:12-13)!”

“Paul reminded us that as Your children, to truly know and experience Your plan for our lives will result in us knowing the power of Your resurrection but also knowing the fellowship in Your sufferings (Philippians 3:10). He also said to not cast away our confidence, which has great reward. Your word says we have need of endurance, so that after we have done Your will and completed Your plan, we too, may receive the promise (Hebrews 10:35-36)!”

“I believe that all the difficulties and dangers we encounter, the brokenness, loneliness, heartaches and rejection, the sufferings, problems, pain, trials, tribulations, temptations etc…. are all connected to the fulfillment of the plans You have purposed for our lives. I believe it takes all of the above to shape our Christian perspective and prepare us spiritually, emotionally and physically to fulfill Your plan for our lives that prove what is the good, acceptable, and perfect will of Yours for our lives –Romans 12:2!”

“Help us to look unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith – Hebrews 12:2, relying on His all sufficient strength, mercy and grace knowing that we are Your workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which You Yourself prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them (Ephesians 2:10). And help us all, dear God, to stand strong in these perilous final days just before Christ glorious return to planet earth without fear, and never forget Who’s in control of the universe and our lives!”

“Thank You Father, for Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever and ever (Matthew 6:13b)!”

“In Jesus Magnificent Name we pray. Amen!”

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11)!”

KIRKUS REVIEW

In his autobiographical debut, Lucas (The Potter and the Clay, 2014) recounted his tumultuous journey from drug-addled dissipation to redemption through Jesus. In this volume, he relates the traps set by Satan for those who have yet to craft a strong relationship with Jesus, and the various ways in which one can resist evil and craft a joyous spirituality: “The purpose in my writing t Read more of this blog post »

“No one is ever without hope in this life. My story is one of great pain, and also great healing. My strong belief is that suffering has been my greatest teacher through the eyes of perspective and was undoubtedly the gateway that led to the transformation that occurred in my life, and can be for others as well - as God's gift not only to us as individuals, but to inspire us to INSPIRE OTHERS and do all we can to inspire the World!" - Ellis Lucas”

message 1: by Ellis

Ellis Lucas “The Potter and the Clay by Ellis Lucas is the journey of a man in the depths of despair, climbing his way out of it to the triumph of forgiveness and embracing salvation. This book gave me hope in my situation, making amends and asking for forgiveness from those I have unknowingly hurt in some way. Our destinies are already written, but we as humans need to travel through the trials and the bumps in the road to the end, whether it is bitter or sweet. We do have the power to change the written destiny if we welcome the spirit of the Lord into our hearts, minds and souls. I recommend The Potter and the Clay for anyone who is struggling and needs a helping hand.”

“I am truly honored to be asked to give my recognition to this riveting book. What an amazing testimony of giving what I like to call good old fashioned “shoe-leather” theology. It is a must read for those who might feel as though they are damaged beyond repair. Jesus is not only in the business of salvation but also renovation. He is always there with open arms to receive us the way we are, but loves us too much to leave us that way. He is so worthy, not only of our praise, but of our surrender to His shaping.”

Pastor Scott Gurwell
Calvary Chapel – Liberty, Missouri

“It is my greatest honor to recommend this book. Life many times takes us down a road to addiction, loneliness, emptiness, and sadness. It spirals out of control and then we find ourselves in a place of no return! But Ellis tells us in his book how he finds hope, peace, love, and life. How his life now has purpose. It happened when he gave his life away and began to obey the one that could reshape him. Everyone should read this book and give one to someone who needs some hope in their life.”

Rev. John Mohler
Chaplain Missouri Bikers for Christ

“It is with great joy that I give my highest recommendation for this impactful book, The Potter and the Clay. This riveting story of a tragic life, countered by the faithfulness and love of God, serves as a life preserver for many who are sinking in the murky waters of hopelessness. This is the sort of story I would gladly recommend as a source of encouragement for the prodigal and those waiting for them to return home. Ellis’s story is raw, yet compelling; it reaches down to the gutter of human despair and rises to height of divine providence. In my opinion, the story of Ellis Lucas is a timely resource for healing and restoration for today’s lost and broken generation.”

Pastor Al Pittman
Calvary Worship Center – Colorado Springs, Colorado

“Ellis’ story is hugely impacting and will help those who are hurting from past and present abuse to understand that God loves them and is still at work in their lives to bring healing and hope.”

Victor Marx
All Things Possible Ministries

“The title of Ellis Lucas’ book, The Potter and The Clay, I thought pretty much summed it up: “A story of a lump of mud, we call humanity, that is transformed into something beautiful and useful by a creative potter.” However, after reading I found it to be much more than that! There is power in a personal life changing testimony. There is hope in knowing that we are not alone in the trials and challenges we may face. There is encouragement for those that feel hopeless and helpless. Ellis’ story is one that will resonate with wayward prodigals and worrisome parents. I highly recommend spending time with this book and reflecting on your own relationship with the Potter.”

David Lin
Lead Singer – 9th Hour

“This book shows the love and grace of God in a person’s life. After reading this book, I feel it can be a great help to many Christians and those struggling with becoming a Christian (accepting Christ as their Savior and Lord). This book describes how a loving God has taken time to make sure we know His love for us and how He puts people in our lives to help draw us to Him. It also shows how God uses difficult circumstances to demonstrate His magnificent work. Ellis’s testimony shows how God can use anyone, no matter what they have done in their past, and glorify Himself. We may not have experienced what Ellis has, but because of his testimony, we too can look back and see how God’s grace has been working in our lives. “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).” I recommend this book for everyone, no matter what his or her spiritual walk is like. For those who may be in doubt about God’s love for them and for the seekers: God is there and ready to bring you into His family.”

Pastor Wayne Titus
Valley Community Church – Rapid City, South Dakota

“Knowing Ellis as a man sold out to right living, as one who spends his entire life to help others, that’s one thing. Then to read his story—to glimpse backward into the broken mess of the first chapters of his life–that’s another. He is an entirely different man now! The contrast is spectacular. The catalyst for this truly radical change is stunning. Whatever interrupted him is worthy of a look. If your life needs a touch on the reset button, here’s a story for you. Believe me, Jesus works. I’ve seen evidence. His name is Ellis.”
