Hello! I am Faith, wife, mom, library director of a rural library, adjunct college instructor, and most importantly a writer.

I have been writing ever since I learned how to print. My soul yearns to be able to tell a story with words regardless if it will ever be read.

My husband and I have a large, blended family with six kids, two dogs, and two cats. We live way out in the country in Middle Tennessee just outside of Nashville where the corn grows and the tobacco smokes. (I seriously love the fall harvest when the tobacco is smoked. The entire countryside is covered with the rich smell that is tainted with molasses.)

I cry. No, seriously.

Writer's block usually hits me when I have an awesome idea in my head and just can not get it written. I usually can see what I want to happen and I just can't get it written down. Then I get overwhelmed.

So, to move past... I go for a hike, or read a book, or work on something else. For me Writer's Block is a matter of getting stuck like in a rut and you have to figure out how to rock out of it. Sometimes you can rock the vehicle back and forth on your own, sometimes you need to throw something in the rut for the tires to grab on to, and sometimes... you have to be towed out. There is no single answer.(less)

We are west of Nashville. - No, we haven't had the flu or COVID-19 but unfortunately, my best friend lost her mom to flu. - Yes, my adjunct professor life got crazy for a hot minute. - Yes, my library director life is ongoing in the crazy, but we are good and working. - Read more of this blog post »

Faith is starting Two Steps Forward: Just starting... Not a typical read for me but who knows? The last book I read wasn't typical either and I really enjoyed it.
