Hello! I am Faith, wife, mom, library director of a rural library, adjunct college instructor, and most importantly a writer.

I have been writing ever since I learned how to print. My soul yearns to be able to tell a story with words regardless if it will ever be read.

My husband and I have a large, blended family with six kids, two dogs, and two cats. We live way out in the country in Middle Tennessee just outside of Nashville where the corn grows and the tobacco smokes. (I seriously love the fall harvest when the tobacco is smoked. The entire countryside is covered with the rich smell that is tainted with molasses.)

I cry. No, seriously.

Writer's block usually hits me when I have an awesome idea in my head and just can not get it written. I usually can see what I want to happen and I just can't get it written down. Then I get overwhelmed.

So, to move past... I go for a hike, or read a book, or work on something else. For me Writer's Block is a matter of getting stuck like in a rut and you have to figure out how to rock out of it. Sometimes you can rock the vehicle back and forth on your own, sometimes you need to throw something in the rut for the tires to grab on to, and sometimes... you have to be towed out. There is no single answer.(less)

Publishing News

As my nanowrimo writing was taken off, I found an old pamphlet I had written about Advent. Given that I have a writer's mind, I became obsessed with this pamphlet. IT needed some work though.Fast forward. I worked on the devotional book last week, updating and adding to it.So now, it is available on Amazon in print and digital. You can access them from my Amazon Author Page.
