Amethyst Marie is a time traveler from the early 1980's who has been traveling at a speed of roughly 525,600 minutes per year. In her travels, she has amassed knowledge of world history and mythologies, human psychology, speculative fiction, television comedy, musical theater, Internet subcultures and fandoms, and terrible pop music. She lives in the midwestern United States with two dogs named Pinky Tuscadero and Joanie Cunningham.

I want soooooo badly to give this book 5 stars. It's basically Golden Girls meets Murder She Wrote set in the 1910s. It was so much fun to read, and I plan on reading more of Rinehart's work in the future.
