Here are my Top Five Ways To Overcome Writer's Block. 1) Skip forward in the story to a scene I can't wait to write. For me, this usually involves a scene with some element of romance. 2) Write the scene from another character's point of view. This helps me notice details the main character didn't (or refused) to share. 3) Work on a different project. Characters tend to be jealous creatures and tend to speak up when feeling ignored. 4) Read a book. This gets the creative juices flowing. 5) Chocolate.
