As a kid, I sought my artistic inspiration in cartoons and comic books. Soon I outgrew the kindergarten stories and turned my attention to the more hardcore stuff. My world was suddenly populated by barbarians, astronauts and zombie armies, lots of blood and fighting.

I will never forget how happy I was when I received the printed copy of my first illustrated book. Publisher demanded illustrations in comical style – I did not realize at the time that this was how I was going to draw for the rest of my life.
