Jorge Palinhos é dramaturgo e autor de contos e crónicas. As suas peças de teatro foram galardoardas com o Prémio Miguel Rovisco e Prémio Manuel DenizJacinto, entre outros, além de terem sido apresentadas e publicadas em Portugal,em Espanha e no Brasil. Tem colaborado com crónicas, artigos e contos para o P3,
Grande Porto, aguasfurtadas, 365, Bang, Sinais de Cena e Drama, e antologias nacionais e estrangeiras.

Verão

As horas longas são aquilo de que mais gosto no Verão. Telefone e correio acalmam-se, há uma tranquilidade que se instala.

Faço planos para finalmente cumprir isto, realizar aquilo, "aproveitar o tempo".

Depois interrogo-me o que há realmente para aproveitar no tempo, se não o próprio tempo. Essas horas de calma, em que o mundo demora o passo e há, finalmente, tempo para perder tempo.
