The passions of my teenage years were history, mystery and romance - and they still are.

My non-fiction family histories and biographies aim to combine meticulous research with a highly-readable story line - including my latest book 'Margaret Flockton: A Fragrant Memory', the story of a standard-setting scientific botanical artist, published by Wakefield Press. My book 'Brothers in Arms', the Great War letters of two brothers in different armies, was rated very highly by two Book Club groups at the Melbourne Athaeneum Library in 2017. No worries. I've been too busy elsewhere to notice happenings on Goodreads, which I too find somewhat difficult to navigate! There are plenty of other books on my 'Want to Read' list - I hope to make a start on them soon.
