Noelle writes for therapy and knits for relaxation, or vice versa. Her books include Some Smaller Grace, Light Over Water and Waiting For Wren. She is working on her fourth novel, tentatively entitled "Essay of The Weak".

In Christian service for over thirty-five years, Noelle has lived in New England, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, New Zealand, and Oklahoma, but home has always meant Maine, where she spent her formative years.

All of her books are set in Maine, whose forests, fields and waters lend soothing backdrops to some of life's most difficult challenges.

They are devoted to one another through the vagaries of their separate careers, through raising their children, through scandal and danger and betrayal. Theirs is a tender marriage that portrays the reality of life with a spouse through the long years. They know, trust and care for each other with the settled commitment that sees through the problems of the moment. I suspect the author has experienced this kind of relationship because she writes of it so well.(less)
