Not Spam?!

Hmmm… I've just found a load of comments that had somehow been marked as spam and disappeared into a spam directory…
I apologise to everyone who had made a comment that had been held up or back so long.
Rest assured the Dæmon or Cyberpixie responsible will be severely admonished and I will do my best to pay more careful attention to their work in the future—to be fair to the little rascals they had marked as spam a lot of actual spam.

I'll also try to locate the comments I haven't answered and get back to you…

An0ma1y Book Trailer

After months of planning and weeks of slaving over a hot graphics-tablet I have finally completed the Video Promo for Chapter One of An0ma1y. Check it out...

Many thanks to the lads of Lady Fortune, an excellent Indie Band from my home county of Shropshire for the special Instrumental version of their track 'Take It Back'. You can find them all over the internet but mainly here and here.

Right back to rebuilding the website again... Remember if you login in you can see the new design and leave me comments.

This is Mark Wallinger‘s “Time and Relative Dimensions in Space 2001″, a life-sized mirrored model of the TARDIS from “Doctor Who,” which at certain angles seems to blend into its environment. It was exhibited at The Hayward Gallery in February 2009.

Brilliant.

Chrome Tardises are cool…

I just thought of something. If Jesus was born today…in Bethlehem, how accepting would Americans be of him? A 32-year-old man from Palestine who speaks Hebrew and tells you to give all your money to the poor?

Burn

If Jesus were born today and gained any sort of clout, the same thing that happened to him two thousand years ago would happen to him again: he would be accused of being a dangerous cult leader attacking the banking system and the political establishment; he would be executed by the empire, probably by unreported drone strike rather than messy spectacular crucifixion; his own former friends and students would be dragged before the media to denounce his delusional narcissistic personality disorder; records of his life would be driven underground for centuries, until a new empire saw fit to revive his memory in service of a new imperial agenda.

There has never been a more beautiful bolded.

love it “basic” smartphones from $65…

emergentfutures:

Apple and Samsung, beware. Practically anyone can make a smartphone these days.

A little over a year ago, 38-year-old entrepreneur Liang Liwan wasn’t making smartphones at all. This year, he expects to build 10 million of them.

Liang’s company, Xunrui Communications, buys smartphone components and then feeds them to several small factories around Shenzhen, in southern China. There, deft-fingered workers assemble the parts into basic smartphones that retail for as little as $65.
