I was born in Yorkshire to a rather odd family. My grandfather was a sculptor, my mother a painter and writer and the smell of copal varnish and turpentine filled my childhood, punctuated by the steady tapping of the old Imperial typewriter. It was little surprise that I scribbled a lot.

Words and images have filled my life with wonder and I strive to capture their elusive essence, holding it long enough to pin it down.I brought the imaginary worlds to my canvas and pen and in them, found adventure.

I was fortunate and to win the David Burland Prize. I have been a columnist with The Spirit Guides since 2008 and a guest on radio. Recently published by Datura Press is a book co-authored with Dr G. Michael Vasey, "The Mystical Hexagram".

Sue Vincent Glad to help, Phyllis :)

Phyllis Goodwin Hi Sue, Success at last - I have added my blog to Goodreads and I now have some colour photos etc. I just need to improve on my text presentation. Thanks for your help!

Sue Vincent Hi Phyllis! I need to do some housekeeping on Goodreads, I think, sometime very soon. The books have been a delight to work on over the past few years. Most of them recount our adventures within the ancient landscape and living the journey has been a real voyage of discovery.

Phyllis Goodwin Thanks Sue for your friendship. I joined in 2014 and just decided to do something about my author page! I'm very impressed by your efforts in four years! Hope to read your small dog book sometime in the future. Best wishes.

Loretta Hi, Sue. Thanks for the friendship request. Often they are from people I haven't 'met' before, so it was nice to see a face I recognised. I hadn't realised you were a near neighbour, either, lol. Aren't we blessed to live in such a beautiful place?
