PJ wrote poetry in high school, but she discovered writing children’s books and short stories later in life. Her writing inspirations are hiking, photography and environmental consciousness, but she links these interests to much larger social issues. A person very close to PJ was molested as a child, making PJ passionate about providing child safety tips. And, PJ was bullied in the third grade by girls much larger than she, who demanded that PJ give them her lunch or her lunch money. As a result, PJ is committed to spreading the word that bullying must be stopped.

One of PJ’s goals is to help educate children, parents and caregivers, in a fun way, using her children’s book series, The Mystic Princesses. Because PJ loves to travel, the princ

It received so many hits compared to the other pages that the website designer suggested I write a marriage advice book. The outcome was After "I Do!" A Marriage Map. (less)

“I can't think of a better compliment for a couple than to know that they are that familiar with each other's strengths, and comfortable with their partner's judgment that they seem to share one brain.”
PJ LaRue

“Sooner or later we all discover that the important moments in life are not the advertised ones, not the birthdays, the graduations, the weddings, not the great goals achieved. The real milestones are less prepossessing. They come to the door of memory unannounced, stray dogs that amble in, sniff around a bit and simply never leave. Our lives are measured by these.”
Susan B. Anthony

“Woman must not depend upon the protection of man, but must be taught to protect herself.”
Susan B. Anthony

“The earth laughs in flowers.”
Ralph Waldo Emerson

“I have a handful of prayers that I pray all the time... One is that God will put my books into the right hands at the right times. I've prayed this prayer thousands of times, and God has answered it in dramatic fashion countless times. The right book in the right hands at the right time can save a marriage, avert a mistake, demand a decision, plant a seed, conceive a dream, solve a problem, and prompt a prayer. That is why I write. And that's why, for me, a book sold is not a book sold; a book sold is a prayer answered. I don't know the name and situation of every reader, but God does, and that's all that matters.”
Mark Batterson, Draw the Circle: The 40 Day Prayer Challenge

“Nolan Bushnell, the creator of the Atari video game system, once stated, ‘Everyone who’s ever taken a shower has had an idea, It’s the person who gets out of the shower, dries off, and does something about it who makes a difference.”
Mark Batterson, Draw the Circle: The 40 Day Prayer Challenge

Hi, nice to meet you, too. I'm reading Rosemary and Antonio by Marie Fostino. I met Marie on Twitter when she offered a free book to anyone that would read and review her book.

Have a great day and weekend.
