I have a thing for books about power. Whether it's historical heroes/heroines who empower themselves when society tries to push them down or characters who discover alternate worlds where they can do the impossible, chances are these books will call me to either write or read them.

I tend to go for "genius" voices that step away from the norm. A narrator I can enjoy is one that is not afraid to tell its story in a way that has not been done before.

Hi Collete, absolutely! You seem pretty far along with four novels pubbed, that's a lot of work! Good thing you got started early as a kid ;) I too attempted to establish my own "publishing house." First signs of indie? Could be!

Margaret Alexander Jaye wrote: "Hello Margaret Thanks for the friend request. You have some interesting books here. Quite different than what I normally read. How exciting!"

Hello, Jaye (You have such an unusual name, I love it!) Seems we both love historical fiction, though ;) Similar things bring us together, but diversity keeps us intrigued. Love the connection!
