Natasha Metzler doesn’t have a whole list of credentials to tell you about, but she does have the incredible story of how God met her in the midst of her greatest sorrows and brought redemption.

She lives on a farm in Northern New York with her husband and two miracle-children. She struggles to keep her house clean, is terrible at being on time to anything, and is sometimes an emotional mess—but, amazingly enough, her husband still thinks she’s something special and her children are slowly, but surely, learning that their mama loves them so much it’s crazy.

Her deepest hope and prayer is that every part of her life may be marked by conversation with the Father.

Sometimes Miracles Are Harsher Than We Expect

Sometimes Miracles Are Harsher Than We Expect

The room was bright and harsh for three in the morning.

I was shaking, hard, much as I had been for the past two days, even though the pain had mostly settled out.

There was blood smeared across my bare stomach and my hands had speckles of dried blood across them.

My doctor was still working at stopping the bleeding, and I kept trying to hold my legs still. It wasn’t working.

I could hear my husba

"Very Different

But in a good way. I enjoyed the journey of realizing singleness could become an idol as well as anything, and this striving to be and seek reasons could be different than you thought was the reason you were here. " Read more of this review »

"Wow. From the description given, this story just sounds like a fun Christian rom com…nope. It is absolutely funny at times and there is romance, but there is also so much depth and genuine Christianity in this story!

“I have to learn to love from this spot, today. I have to learn to trust, even when His will seems frightening or untrustworthy. I have to follow Him, even when it feels like I am walking into emptiness. It is right here, right today, that I must decide where my faith is. If serving God does not work from right here, in the middle of my pain and mourning, it won't work from anywhere.”
Natasha Metzler, Pain Redeemed {when our deepest sorrows meet God}

“Six months into our correspondence, he asked me to send him a picture. Eight months in his postcard read, ‘The very first moment I beheld you, my heart was irrevocably gone.’ It wasn’t until just a few years ago that Shari informed me this was actually a phrase he stole from Jane Austen’s Love and Friendship. I think the fact that he quoted Jane Austen may have made me fall a little bit more in love with him—even all these years later.”
Natasha Metzler, The Marrieds and their Reasons: A Prequel Novella

“I want to help young girls recognize that they are created in the image of God. That their bodies are good. I want them to know they don't have to make themselves less to be enough.”
Natasha Metzler, Love, Paris
