My Little Piece of Reality Now Includes Chickens
During the first birdemic lockdown of 2020, I spent the bulk of my time renovating a dilapidated building in my backyard that the property's previous owner had used as a chicken coop or hen house. I completed the work within a couple of months and vowed to procure chickens immediately after but somehow did not get around to it. Well, it's taken two years, but the hen house finally has some residents -- twelve of them to be exact.
Three weeks ago, I purchased a dozen six-week-old hybrid egg-laying hens. Not knowing much about how to care for poultry, I asked my neighbors for some tips and tricks. It turns out that there isn't all that much to know when it comes to keeping chickens. Give them fresh water, feed, and some space to run around, and the chickens pretty much take care of themselves. To keep "the ladies" happy and healthy, I installed some roosts and nest boxes in the hen house and provided them with a large, fenced-in run full of vegetation. If all goes well, they will lay their first eggs in August.
I never had much of an opinion about chickens before I got them, but now that they are a part of my reality, I find them to be surprisingly delightful. Their presence also adds a little life to the yard and creates a comforting and warm ambiance.
I get the sense that hens will become a permanent fixture in my life. Next up -- goats!*
* I have to be careful with that one because my wife has bluntly informed me that she will leave me if I dare to bring a goat within a hundred meters of the house.
The ladies, numbers 1 to 8 . . .
. . . and 9 to 12 (though I think Lady Number 6 -- the prima donna -- appears in both photos).

Hungarian Children Pass a Litmus Test
I don't comment much on this sort of thing anymore, but since it happened in the country I call home and is directly related to one of the Litmus Tests of Serious Christianity, I thought I'd give it a brief whirl.
Last year during a match between the English and Hungarian national teams, Hungarian football fans were accused of the System's most grievous sin -- racism. Naturally, Western media exploded into a feeding frenzy. The country was unanimously branded a hotbed of racism and general not-niceness, and UEFA punished the Hungarian team by insisting it had to play a certain number of future games behind closed doors -- that is, in stadiums devoid of fans.
This year, England visited Hungary for another match, but instead of playing to an empty stadium, UEFA decided it would allow 35,000 children aged 14 or younger into the stadium to watch the game.
Before the kickoff, Team England players demonstrated their allegiance to Team Satan by ceremoniously "taking the knee" for about ten seconds. The Hungarian children in the stands greeted the virtue signalling with booing. The head of Team England -- a demonic minion if there ever was one -- found the children's blatant rejection of "anti-racism" quite upsetting and had the following to say about the matter (bold added):
'I was very surprised. I thought that's why we do it, to try to educate. I think young people can only be influenced by older people.
'The atmosphere when we arrived at the stadium, there were kids lining the streets they were really friendly, they were waving when we were walking out, there were pantomime boos when the team came out to warm up, that was different with the taking of that knee.
'That felt like inherited thinking to me. And I hear that still in our stadiums as well.
'That's why we do it, that's why we continue to take that stand and we will keep doing that. On a day like today, when we haven't won the game and haven't played well enough it's probably better for me to take criticism rather than talk about that.'
'This won't stop us from doing it in the future. It's not something that will stop us.
'We hope people understand what we're trying to do and then message we're trying to create - and that won't stop.
'The majority of people take it really well and the majority of people really back us and support us in terms of what we're trying to do, and we won't stop doing that now.'
Three thoughts. First, I hope the England boss is correct. I hope the Hungarian children's behavior at the match is inherited. Moreover, I hope that sort of discernment is inheritable, too. It may provide immunity to the sort of demonic imperialism espoused by the Team England boss, his players, and their satanic overlords.
Second, the majority of people do not take this evil really well and do not back it. The comments on the YouTube videos are a testament to that.
Third, fans in the UK have also been rejecting the kneeling before games.
Anyway, British media and Western media later entered the fray by declaring that the children's booing was indeed a political statement -- one that should not be taken lightly. I personally don't believe the kids were making any sort of political statement. I believe the kids simply expressed their discernment of obvious and gratuitous evil.
As a nation, Hungary continues to stubbornly oppose anti-racism and the sexual revolution/qwerty+/trans agenda. Unfortunately, the country's leadership and a great many of its people are completely on board when it comes to the birdemic and climate change/green nonsense.
Maybe that will change when these kids become adults. One can only hope.
To close, I would like to point your attention to the interview clip below in which three shocked and horrified System apparatchiks brand Hungarian children "racist" and "not nice". It's a real piece of work. And that's that. Back to the sorts of things I have tended to focus on these days . . .

Human Suffering: We Must Make Metaphysical Sense of It . . . Now
A recent and engaging comment exchange with a regular reader on the subject of suffering really brought home the imperative to sort out, make sense of, contend with, and make peace with suffering at the level of metaphysical assumptions.
Human suffering, in its seemingly infinite forms, is unavoidable and everyone is forced to grapple with it throughout their mortal lives -- some, on a daily basis. The unwelcome physical and mental challenges suffering inflicts are undeniable. Equally undeniable are the spiritual challenges suffering presents -- challenges that can overwhelm even the most ardent of believers.
For leftists, suffering is ultimate evil. On the one hand, they strive to avoid it and eliminate it at all costs. On the other hand, leftists have used suffering as a battering ram against all sorts of injustices -- real or otherwise -- and as a veritable nuclear bomb against religious thinking. I can think of few things that have damaged Christianity as much as the leftist hijacking of suffering as a rallying cry for social justice and transformation (inversion).
Fyodor Dostoevsky was acutely aware of this hijacking of suffering. In The Brothers Karamazov, he offers an incisive examination of the thinking fueling the outrage via Ivan Karamazov who implicates God as the cause of all suffering and declares that the enormity and needlessness of some suffering -- exemplified by tortured and abused innocent children -- grossly exceeds any metaphysical justification for suffering, thus rendering the "necessity" of suffering unacceptable and irredeemable. Consequently, Ivan declares that although he accepts the reality of God, he cannot, in good conscience, agree to the "higher harmony" of God's plan and, therefore, opts to "return his ticket" for salvation.
Dostoevsky's prescience concerning the evolution of the leftist rebellion against the Christian understanding of suffering is still visible in the likes of vapid celebrities and scholars who vehemently boast about their virtue of not believing in a god that would create various parasites or fatal childhood diseases. Although this sorts of virtue-signalling strikes the average mindless drone modern as noble-minded, it does nothing to address the problem of suffering. The rejection of God as the cause of suffering does not eliminate the suffering itself. All the rejection does is render the suffering meaningless.
Leftists only ascribe meaning to suffering when it facilitates and propels their various Ahrimanic control and surveillance schemes or destructive anti-God and anti-Creation agenda issues. And of course, leftists always present themselves as the only means through which suffering may be alleviated or eliminated. Otherwise, leftists consider suffering to be a meaningless evil that must be avoided at all costs.
It's one thing for leftists to view suffering as either a rallying cry for social justice or a meaningless evil; it's quite another for Christians to espouse the same or similar views. Suffering cannot be meaningless to Christians. Nor can it merely be an impetus that fosters world improvement. Suffering has to mean something to Christians, and this meaning has to extend down all the way to the level of metaphysical assumptions -- to the big questions, questions for which most conventional and traditional theologies and metaphysics provide unsatisfactory answers.
I won't delve into my beliefs about suffering here. I believe the meaning of suffering is something all individual Christians -- with the help of God -- need to work out for themselves. Moreover, they must take full personal responsibility for the answers they discover and decide upon. "Must" because a misguided or ill-formed understanding can present serious metaphysical obstacles for Christians -- obstacles that could drive a Christian to fear, despair or, ultimately, rejecting salvation and God altogether.
I mention all of this now because I feel we will see a rapid acceleration of human suffering in the next year or two. The suffering the 2020 global coup has unleashed is but the tip of the iceberg. The big, yet-unseen part is fast-approaching.
The unprecedented nature of these times makes the scale of suffering difficult to predict or determine. Suffice to say it will be "unprecedented".
I believe some will experience far more suffering than others. Nevertheless, no one will be left unscathed. It will touch us all in one way or another. However, even if we, as individuals, do not experience terrible suffering firsthand, we will certainly be witness to its manifestation in the greater world, which is why sorting out and making sense of human suffering at the level of metaphysical assumptions is imperative . . . now!

The Problematics of Joy in a World of Sin, Suffering, and Death
"Problematic" is one of leftism's favorite words. Leftists tend to apply it to anything that disagrees with their absurd, oppositional ideologies and doctrines. Leftism has no positive, long-term motivation or goal and accepts reality as ultimately meaningless, which entails that everything eventually falls under the problematic banner. Though most leftists are oblivious to the fact, problematic encompasses everything that defies destruction and damnation, which is why God and Creation are the most fundamentally "problematic" of all leftist "problems".
Beyond the scope of leftism's definition and use of the word, problematic refers to things that are difficult, taxing, troublesome, complex, complicated, knotty, thorny, paradoxical, baffling, and puzzling. The word can also describe things that are difficult to discern and solve. Uncertain, questionable, debatable, and indefinite things can also be considered problematic.
With this in mind, we could readily employ problematic to describe the experience of mortal life. Despite leftism's hijacking of the word, mortal life in this world can indeed be very difficult, taxing, complicated, knotty, paradoxical, and baffling.
Equally problematic are the thinking and lines of communication we utilize to manage and make sense of the many problematic things we encounter and face during our mortal lives. The words we use to communicate core realities like God, Creation, love, and freedom become just as problematic as the realities they are trying to define and describe. The same applies to most words and concepts -- in fact, every word and concept, including "joy".
Surprisingly enough, joy is not a supremely problematic concept for leftists and those opposed to God and Creation.
At the minion level, leftists positively conceptualize joy as anything that provides hedonistic pleasure, happiness, comfort, and satisfaction. Leftists anchor joy in ego and materialism. Superior experiences of joy include all sorts of material gratifications fueled by egoistic self-interest that can range from the seediest of sexual gratifications to the grandest altruistic, utopian visions of improving the world and creating heaven on earth.
From a purely negative perspective, joy for a leftist is the delay and avoidance of physical pain and suffering, both for themselves and -- once again, altruistically -- for all of humanity.
Joy is only problematic for leftists when the joy of others infringes upon their joy or when they sense the inherent transience or non-permanence of the joy they experience and pursue in mortal life.
At the demonic level -- from which minion leftists draw their energy -- the matter of joy is not problematic at all. Joy is simple and straightforward for demons. Everything and anything that assists in the destruction of Creation and the damnation of souls is joyful because, at the demonic level, joy is a terminal concept. The greatest joy a demon hopes to experience is its own self-destruction after it has succeeded in destroying everything else in Creation.
Peak joy at the demonic level is non-being -- the absolute dissolution and destruction of God and Creation.
If we rank joy on a problematic scale, we find that joy is not problematic for demons, only somewhat problematic for leftists and, oddly enough, extremely problematic for Christians.
What makes joy so problematic for Christians in mortal life? I imagine a great deal of it has to do with the temptations towards the hedonistic, egoistic, and materialistic amusements, comforts, and distractions in mortal life through which leftists find pleasure.
The sexual revolution provides a solid negative example in this regard. Though Christians recognize and comprehend the innate immorality and sins of the sexual revolution, they are nonetheless lured by the apparently “joyful” temptations it offers. The same applies to all leftist ideologies and litmus test issues. Leftists enslave themselves to joy as a means through which to escape the awareness of sin. Christians, on other hand, know that deriving joy from sin opposes God and Creation. Though such knowledge should free and liberate, Christians often regard it as difficult and burdensome.
The problem of impermanence affects Christians just as much as it affects leftists. Like leftists, Christians aspire to maximize and maintain joy in mortal life, but the kinds of joy Christians attempt to maximize and maintain are just as impermanent and transitory as the kinds of joy leftists attempt to maximize and maintain.
The reality of suffering, pain, entropy, and death in mortal life also make joy problematic for Christians. After all, how can anyone in the grips of extreme pain or severe suffering experience genuine joy? How can anyone who experiences the tragic loss of a young child or the eventual loss of their own mental and physical faculties feel authentic joy? Moreover, why should they? To claim to be joyful in such conditions would be a sign of gross dishonesty. To deny the reality of suffering, pain, and entropy is to deny the significance of suffering, pain, and entropy.
Suffice to say that the human condition sets definite limits on genuine joy – at least in the conventional sense of the concept.
Joy is easy for demons because they aim at destruction, death, and non-being. Joy is more problematic for Christians because they are – ideally – aiming at creation, life, and being, which are far more problematic to pursue in this world.
Though the world contains beauty, truth, and goodness, it is also filled with ugliness, lies, and evil. Beauty, truth, and goodness can sustain joy; ugliness, lies, and evil seek to destroy it. If we are aligned with God and Creation, we can pursue beauty, truth, and goodness in mortal life, but this pursuit does not negate the existence of ugliness, lies, and evil, which is why joy in mortal life is often problematic for Christians.
Nevertheless, Christians can tap a level of joy that is unproblematic and not restricted by the limits of their mortal lives, but this requires a level of thinking and understanding that includes the experience of their mortal lives and eternity.
It begins with the understanding that we existed as disembodied spiritual beings before our mortal lives. As disembodied spiritual beings, we asked God to incarnate us into this world to experience the kind of spiritual learning that could help us to attain a permanently embodied form of spiritual life.
We asked God to put us in His Creation, in a time and place conducive to the kinds of learning we needed most. We knew what we were “signing up” for beforehand. We knew a large part of the learning we had to undergo involved suffering, pain, and death as well as happiness, pleasure, and life. We also knew that if we learned the lessons we needed to learn, we could move onto a form of everlasting life that will be vastly superior.
Our deepest, truest self – the spiritual being having the human experience in mortal life – knows this still and experiences joy for the opportunity.
The joy within our true selves – our divine selves – is the only unproblematic joy we can hope to know during our mortal lives, but we can only come to know this unproblematic joy if we begin to know -- or at least become aware of -- the reality of our true and divine self and what it is aiming for.
Note added: Chapter 16 of the Fourth Gospel has much to say about the unproblematic joy I have attempted to describe in the post, particularly 16:20-33, which I have included below (bold added):
20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.
21 A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.
22 And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.
23 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.
24 Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.
25 These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father.
26 At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you:
27 For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.
28 I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.
29 His disciples said unto him, Lo, now speakest thou plainly, and speakest no proverb.
30 Now are we sure that thou knowest all things, and needest not that any man should ask thee: by this we believe that thou camest forth from God.
31 Jesus answered them, Do ye now believe?
32 Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.
33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

A Moment "In" Joy is Worth a Century
Last year I wrote a post in which I referred to joy as a weapon, which is a peculiar way to think about joy when you stop to think about it. To clarify, I don't really consider joy to be a weapon, but I imagine the enemy does, and that makes all the difference.
Extinguishing joy is clearly a primary demonic objective of these times. The best way to counter the seemingly never-ending onslaught is to aspire to be "in" joy every day.
Being "in" joy is not merely about comforts, amusements, distractions, and pleasures. Though these things may spark or stoke joy, being "in" joy transcends the dictum to "enjoy".
At its core, I interpret being "in" joy as an exercise in thinking that leads to an interchange between the Divine and the divine within us. It presents an opportunity to commune with the very essence of the Creator and His Creation.
Above all else, joy is a testament to the reality of God and the presence of God's love. Being "in" joy is to be fully immersed in that reality and that presence, even if it lasts but a moment each day.
Every moment we spend "in" joy feels like a century to the enemy . . . which is exactly as it should be and precisely why it matters.

Our Attitude Towards Power
Who was more powerful? Jesus or the worldly power that crucified Him?
I ask the question because many have reached the erroneous conclusion that the Christian faith is weak, passive, and powerless.
Note that I say Christian faith and not Christianity because if one equates Christianity with contemporary Christian institutions and organizations then one may well be justified in the discernment that Christianity is indeed weak, passive, and powerless.
Worse, one can readily observe that all nearly all forms of organized Christianity have submitted to and are complying with global totalitarian evil. What does this say about organized Christianity and its relationship to power?
Those who see the Christian faith as weak, passive, and powerless misunderstand the latent power within the Christian faith. They pine for something more robust and vigorous -- something more testosterone-laden. Hence, they abandon Christianity altogether and set out to find power in other spiritual possibilities. Excuse the vulgarism, but they essentially yearn for a god "with balls". Hence, the current interest in neo-paganism.
The small but growing interest in neo-paganism is a response to the question at the top of this post. Those who seek neo-pagan spiritual solutions to our current challenges certainly believe the worldly power that crucified Jesus was more powerful than Christ.
This is an error of the most grievous kind. Nevertheless, it does shed light on the need for Christians to re-examine and re-think their attitudes towards power lest they fall into passivity, despair, or mistakenly wander down the same dead-end road. Nikolai Berdyaev once noted that:
"Without a radical and spiritual transformation of our attitude towards power, in awareness and in action, we will remain in a condition of servility."
Our attitude towards power -- about what it truly is and what it truly does -- has rarely been more critical than it is now.
So, ask yourself -- Who was more powerful? Jesus or the worldly power that crucified Him?
Your answers will reveal much about your attitude towards power and, possibly, the work you still need to do personally.

The Two Most Common Sacred Images in Hungarian Homes
In previous generations nearly every Hungarian home featured some sort szentkép, which can be roughly translated as "sacred image".
These sacred images were usually mid-to-low-quality prints featuring Jesus, the Virgin Mary -- either separately or together -- or an iconic New Testament scene.
You can still encounter these images today, mostly in the homes of elderly people. In my experience, the two images below remain the most "popular".
The Sacred Heart of Jesus - date and artist unknown. A framed copy of this print "came with" the house I purchased in Hungary six years ago.
Jesus on the Mount of Olives - date and artist unknown Though the tradition continues here and there, it is not nearly as prevalent as it had been in previous generations. When you are invited into anyone's home these days, you are more likely to encounter a kaleidoscopic IKEA print or a framed poster of a professional athlete or rock band.

Render Unto Science What is Science's; Or, Why It Is an Error to Pin One's Hopes On Team Save Western Civilization
As an addendum to yesterday's post in which I argued against pinning one's hopes on Team Save Western Civilization, I would like to offer some support to back up my argument.
Before wading into it, I need to stress that these of sorts judgments do not really need to be supported in any conventional sense to be valid.
On the contrary, judgments like the one I publicized about Team Save Western Civilization yesterday are largely a matter of personal experience, intuition, and spiritual discernment, which could also be described as a "just know" position.
Things coming to a point in 2020 have made this "just know" level much easier, but it only works if you are aware of the point that was reached in 2020.
Anway, on to the support. The paragraph below is excerpted from the speech the Hungarian Prime Minister gave at the recent CPAC Conference in Budapest (bold and paragraph breaks added):
Our seventh point: do not get pushed to the extreme. I say this because extreme conspiracy theories rear their heads from time to time on the right – just as extreme utopias regularly rear their heads on the left. If we take a deeper look, we see that in fact people want neither.
But, Dear Friends, what is the difference between the denial of science by the extreme right and the denial of biology by LGBTQ movements? The answer is simple: there is no difference whatsoever. We must render unto Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, unto God the things that are God’s, and unto Science the things that are Science’s.
We may gain immense popularity on internet forums by promoting conspiracy theories – and indeed sometimes there is truth in them; but in reality we will alienate a large proportion of the electorate, find ourselves pushed to the margins, and eventually we will lose.
Render unto Science the things that are Science's.
Well, I honestly don't know where to start. To tack this statement onto Jesus's message is in and of itself profane, perhaps even blasphemous, especially when we acknowledge that the science to which Orbán refers is thoroughly corrupt, explicitly anti-Truth, anti-God, and blatantly anti-Creation -- hence, not science.
Orbán's augmentation and inversion of the sentences Jesus used to turn the tables on a Pharisee-set trap discloses much about the truths Orbán and others like him seek to avoid.
Though he parades around as one of the West's greatest defenders, Orbán fully knows that he actively, willingly, and eagerly helped kill Western Civilization and usher in the 2020 global totalitarian coup via the birdemic and its "science".
Moreover, Orbán and the rest of Team Save Western Civilization will continue to employ "the birdemic cover story as a complete explanation for sudden, instant, universal totalitarianism", all under the unquestionable, inviolable, and untouchable banner of "science" or, more correctly, lies.
Anyone who refuses to render unto science the things that are science's is guilty of a thought crime and will be deemed an extremist.
And just how sound and unchallengeable is this science through which Orbán helped usher in global totalitarianism and upon which all "science things" must be rendered?
Well, back in 2021, the Hungarian PM stated the following regarding the science's official diktat on lockdowns, social distancing, masking and birdemic peck effectiveness (code and bold added):
"In the past, we defended ourselves by closing, thereby slowing the spread of the virus. But now we are on the attack. The peck is like a bulletproof vest. The virus bounces off of it."
"Closing" did not defend anyone from anything. Closing devastated the economy and the population. Closing stripped all Hungarians of their supposed fundamental rights. The peck is anything but a bulletproof vest. All of my pecked colleagues and friends who donned the vest have caught birdemic bullets -- some repeatedly -- in spite of it.
That's some science, that.
A writer at the Gates of Vienna blog noted the following, which aligns with some of what I expressed in my post yesterday (bold added, code words added):
I guess “science” means the birdemic psy-op. And “far-right denial of science” means that the “Mi Hazánk” (Our Homeland) party has exposed the birdemic psy-op and has been voted into the Parliament.
Again, Hungary is playing the antagonist in the NWO theater, against the more overt “woke” part of the global Communist revolution, along with the invited US Republican party and the whole “conservative idea”. And the more covert part of the Communist revolution is the “Fourth Industrial Revolution” within the “Great Reset”, which Hungary is heavily invested in.
The Powers That Be are playing both sides.
Sound points, but they miss the spiritual aspect entirely. The larger point is this - the two sides the Establishment are playing are both on the wrong side of God and Creation, which is why it is pointless for anyone to pin their hopes on the side of Team Save Western Civilization.
All politics now is System politics, which means all politics here and now belong to Satan, the Father of Lies.
Which leads to the ultimate point. Despite its declarations to the contrary, Team Save Western Civilization is "in on" the global totalitarian coup, and its main mission within the machinations of System politics has to do with keeping people psychologically and spiritually attuned to the System and its lies to prevent the manifestation of spiritual creativity and divine, creation-sustaining, Christian thinking.

Don't Pin Your Hopes on Team Save Western Civilization
A triple-pecked colleague of mine recently lauded the Conservative Political Action Conference held in Budapest over the past couple of days. The event attracted conservatives from all over the world to the Hungarian capital where they outlined how they would to protect “God, homeland, family” from the insanity of leftist ideology.
My triple-pecked colleague declared the conference to be a good omen – a sign that a turning point had been reached. As far as he was concerned, the conference proved that Western Civilization could and would be saved after all.
This triple-pecked colleague of mine is – as Dr. Charlton has so memorably put it – married to the Psycho Hose Beast; he has zero awareness of the 2020 satanic global totalitarian coup:
. . . it is clear that most people did not recognize the 2020 coup at the time - but instead wholly accepted the birdemic cover story as a complete explanation for sudden, instant, universal totalitarianism.
And having failed to notice the biggest event in world history (i.e. the silent international coup to install a world government) - these people naturally do not take any significant action to disengage psychologically and spiritually; they fail even to remember 'what it was like'.
And indeed they have ended-up married to the Psycho Hose Beast that is The System.
People like my birdemic “immunity”-card carrying, Fidesz-voting, conservative-minded colleague are blind to the obvious – after decades of terminal decline, Western civilization has died. It died in 2020 when nearly everyone in the world “accepted the birdemic cover story as a complete explanation for sudden, instant, universal totalitarianism.”
I offhandedly mentioned this to my colleague, citing the Orbán government’s oppressive policies during the height of the birdemic, policies which trampled all over “God, Homeland, Family” and other supposed essential characteristics of Western civilization. My colleague looked at me as if I had suddenly begun speaking a different language, and it was at that moment that I realized how utterly irrational and pointless it was to speak of such things with people who are remain firmly committed to remaining married to the Psycho Hose Beast.
True to System form, people like my colleague continue to pin their hopes on Team Save Western Civilization. They truly believe that “conservative” politicians and organizations will ultimately right the ship while at the same time remaining ignorant of the reality that the ship has already sunk to the bottom of a deep, dark, and cold ocean.
More bluntly, people like colleague continue to invest hope into the hopeless.
Western Civilization ended in 2020. We have entered System Civilization. The peculiar thing about System Civilization is that it does not qualify as a civilization at all. Sure, it possesses the external characteristics of civilization – large population centers, written language, systems for administering territories, monumental architectural and “unique” art styles, social classes – but unlike conventional civilizations, System Civilization is steadfastly committed to using these external civilizational characteristics to destroy itself and inflict mass death and damnation upon its population.
During the course of our informal conversation, I happened to vaguely point this out to my triple-pecked conservative colleague. He responded by falling back upon the cui bono position. Who, he wondered, could possibly benefit from mass, civilizational-level destruction and death?
Who could benefit? I didn’t bother to provide an explanation because the explanation would not have made sense to him, and I very much doubt that the explanation would make sense to most people in the West, which is precisely why the West has died.
So, let’s forget about pinning our hopes on Team Save Western Civilization for the simple reason that Western Civilization is dead. What parades around as Team Save Western Civilization is merely an appendage of System Civilization, and despite all rhetoric to the contrary, System Civilization is anti-God, anti-Creation, and, ironically, anti-civilization.
On the one hand, the death of Western Civilization could be interpreted as an unsettling reality. On the other hand, it also offers the only real worldly hope we can nurture during these times – the possibility of resurrection.
However, physical resurrection must begin as a fundamentally spiritual act – raising a civilization from death requires raising the spirit of the civilization from death first.
Since the spirit of any civilization comprises individuals, the resurrection of individuals must precede the spiritual and physical resurrection of a dead civilization -- and this is where the focus should be.
This is no longer about stopping the destruction. It’s too late for that. The death has already occurred. The most Team Save Western Civilization can do at this point is protect the corpse from further mutilation.
As far as I can tell, that is all they aim to do because the “team” lacks the spiritual motivations needed to raise the civilizational “body” from death.
And that is why it is pointless and misguided to pin any hopes on Team Save Western Civilization.

I Confess -- My Heart Skipped a Beat
Scanning the news yesterday, I happened to stumble upon this alarming headline:
Stalin likely to head TN delegation to World Economic Forum Meet in Davos
I confess -- my heart skipped a beat. My first thought was that they had freeze-dried the ruthless Soviet dictator in the fifties and had somehow brought him back to life for the upcoming meeting. Luckily, it won't be Joseph attending the WEF powwow but Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin.
Just a thought, but if I were the Chief Minister, I would seriously consider changing my name. Then again, Stalin is most fitting for a WEF event. It also appears that the minister is doing his best to look like old Joseph. The WEF is bound to approve.
