New Books Coming
Seizure
You wake up every Monday morning knowing that you are going to fall down the stairs at least four times this week and there is nothing the doctors can do about it.
They try.
They prescribe medication.
However, even when you have the money to purchase it or find a free clinic willing to give you some, the drugs just are not working. You keep falling.
You blank out.
All you want to do is to write a symphony.
The doctors say there is hope.
They have to take a piece of your brain out.
It's the piece that is malfunctioning.
All they have to do is get the right piece.
If they get the wrong piece, well they are not going to be able to put it back.
What do you do?
Seizure is the true story of a musician's life in Grand Rapids and Cleveland and his battle with epilepsy.
--
Blue Collar
What happens when everything you have been promised is taken away?
It doesn't happen quickly. It isn't fast. It would be easier it it was.
But it is not. It is like those frogs that everyone talks about. The frogs left in a pot of water, that is put on low heat. The frogs who don't know they are cooked until they are cooked.
You know the frogs I am talking about.
That is just like the Blue Collar life in Warren, Michigan. Detroit= Motor City? Sure. but Detroit could not have done it without Warren, and the blue collar workers who built that city too.
You know the people I am talking about.
Blue Collar. The story of three Baby Boomers who watched it all slip away and didn't realize it was gone, until it was gone.

I am working on these books now. First drafts should be done in one month. Anyone interested in doing some beta reading?
