I have a YouTube channel!
And a new respect for narrators of audiobooks.
It took me a VERY long time to record a mere few pages of Lost and Found from The Heart of Bath.
And have I mentioned that Lost and Found will be published on Friday 21st June?

Number 1 Royal Crescent, Bath
As well as being one of the best museums around, Number 1 Royal Crescent is home to the fictional Featherington family in Bridgerton (well, the outside of the building at least – I believe the interiors are filmed elsewhere).
Number 1 is also home to the Templeton family in my Regency Romance series The Heart of Bath.
Book 1 of the series, Lost and Found, is the story of the romance between Henry Templeton and Kitty Honeyfield. Henry’s family home is Number 1, and Kitty lives with her parents just around the corner in Russel Street.
When we first encounter the pair, they are meeting in secret in an alleyway near Milsom Street.
“…a secret meeting – an unspoken love…”
Much of the action in the three books takes place in Number 1 (even on the roof on occasions), and as the drama unfolds, other houses in the Crescent also become an important part of the story.
If you haven’t visited Number 1 Royal Crescent, you have a treat in store. It is full of treasures, endlessly fascinating, and staffed by extremely helpful and knowledgeable enthusiasts. The gift shop’s great as well.

You can even have your wedding reception inside this magnificent house – which is exactly what various members of the Templeton family do in The Heart of Bath.
Lost and Found, Book 1 in The Heart of Bath, is now available to pre-order as an ebook on Amazon for 99c/78p here. It will be published on 21st June, when a paperback version will also be available.

SWWJ 130 years
I feel very privileged to be a member of the Society of Women Writers and Journalists. On 1st May we celebrated our 130th Anniversary with a splendid lunch at the House of Lords in Westminster. The weather was kind, the company fascinating, and Baroness Benjamin (Floella Benjamin) gave a particularly inspiring speech.
For security reasons, we cannot share photographs of the occasion, so I will share a picture of my invitation, and another of me ready to go up to London for the event (an excuse to show off our wisteria!).
Please consider joining this wonderfully friendly, encouraging and worthwhile organisation. You can find out all about it here.

Dragonblade Publishing
I am thrilled to see my Regency Romance Lost and Found has appeared on the Dragonblade Publishing website.
I have been working on the three books in this series for quite a time and can’t wait to share my stories with readers. Lost and Found can be pre-ordered on Amazon for 99c/78p, and the next two books, Breaking Free and Starting Again will appear soon. All three books will be published by Christmas 2024 for kindle and in paperback.
The Templeton family in The Heart of Bath live in Number 1 Royal Crescent in Bath, seen above. Each book follows the fortunes of a different Templeton sibling.

Lost and Found: The Heart of Bath
The countdown to my sweet Regency Romance series, The Heart of Bath, has begun! The first book, Lost and Found, is available now for pre-order from Amazon for 99c/78p.
Lost and Found is set in 1815, six months after the Battle of Waterloo. Captain Henry Templeton is missing, presumed dead; he is mourned by Miss Kitty Honeyfield, the young woman he adored but never found the courage to declare himself to. Then, one day…
…a secret meeting – an unspoken love…

Melody Rose in your local library
My novel Melody Rose has now been published in a large print library edition by Ulverscroft. Please ask for it at your local branch!
ISBN 978-1444852677
Up-and-coming conductor Melody is married to her music. Successful journalist Zack is, in his heart, still married to his late wife. Will they walk away from each other, believing there is no future together? Or will they have the most glorious Last Night of the Proms?

Regency Romance: The Heart of Bath
I have been working on a series of three regency romances set in Bath. Book 1 and 2 are complete, and Book 3 is nearly there. All will be published later this year. Further details to follow!
In the meantime, here is a lovely illustration of the Royal Crescent, where the books are set.
And next, an interesting view of Bath from Beechen Cliff, the steep hill to the south of the city, which features in books 1 and 2 in particular.
I can’t wait to share my stories with you!

Melody Rose
My novel Melody Rose is to be published by Ulverscroft at the beginning of April as a large print library book. Please look out for it in your local library – and if they don’t have it on the shelves, why not consider asking them to buy a copy (or two…). It is available now for libraries to pre-order from ‘The Reading House’.
Up-and-coming conductor Melody is married to her music. Successful journalist Zack is, in his heart, still married to his late wife. Will they walk away from each other, believing there is no future together? Or will they have the most glorious Last Night of the Proms?
Melody Rose first began life as a pocket novel for My Weekly; see the cover below. Pocket novels are only on the shelves of supermarkets and newsagents for two weeks, so I am delighted to know that the book will now have a more permanent home in libraries.
There is another, longer version of the novel available now on Amazon as Play It Again, as ebook, paperback or hardback.

Play It Again
My latest novel, published this summer, is set in the Proms music festival, from first to last night.
They weren’t looking for love…
When handsome, charismatic journalist Zack Goodman is sent to interview young up-and-coming orchestral conductor Melody Rose, sparks fly, leading to a night of passion.
The pair are agreed on only one thing, that neither of them are looking for a relationship. For Melody already feels married to her musical career and Zack can’t forget his late wife.
Will Zack’s young daughter, Holly, be able to help steer them towards a happy ending?
Life imitates art! This year is the first year ever that there has been a woman conductor for both the First Night of the Proms and the Last Night of the Proms…apart from in my novel, of course.
The story was originally published earlier in the year as a My Weekly pocket novel. Now it is available on Amazon in a longer version. Perfect summer reading for music lovers and for anyone who loves a heart warming romance with a happy ending.
