Mandy is passionate about writing to the point of obsession and she succeeded in becoming a published author in record time. I was given this book as a Xmas gift. It is the first time I have read Sparks. It is the 'formula' type of story so you know the stages the narrative will take but I did enjoy the characters and the happy ending!
