Coming of age in tumultuous times, I can best describe myself as a product of the 60's. With the explosion of Rock & Roll, the Vietnam war, and the divisions it spread through the country I was caught up in those times.
Called to serve, I was drafted into the Army at the age of 19. As luck "or lack of it," would be I became an 11B20, which in military terms means infantry. Wounded twice, I'm count myself fortunate to survive.
Returning to the Detroit Metropolitan area I pursued a career in many of the manufacturing shops and plants in the area. With countless layoffs in one form or another I eventually spent a career working for the Troy School District which eventually led to me being privatized out. A Perspective

On June 9th, 2013 my father-in-law succumbed to the rigors of life and passed away. He was 95 years old. He leaves behind the legacy of a good, hard working decent husband, father, and friend.
