CAMARO, ZZTop, Kustoms, Lovebirds, Concepts & MONSTER TRUCKS

Good Monday and Welcome to today’s AUTOMOTIVE POP CULTURE!! Let’s bring on the coolness with Fireball’s updated CUSTOM CAMARO MUGSHOT and Classic MASTERPRINT! It’s a blue beasty that’ll turn your single-shot coffee into 180 Octane! And that’s just the first cup… KAPOW!!

DID YOU KNOW?? The first-generation Chevrolet Camaro, including the 1969 model, was designed primarily by Henry Haga. However, multiple designers and engineers contributed to the overall design and development of the car. Tom Peters’ early Camaro build, and others like Mark Stielow’s, were used as references in the design process. His car’s design, particularly the blue Bowtie on its taillight panel, inspired the production model’s emblem, which has been adopted across Chevrolet’s portfolio. Vince Piggins is credited with the idea of introducing the Z/28 option code to the Camaro, which was a key performance package.

And meanwhile, ON PLANET FIREBALL, The ball heads north to his Oregon Car Fam in the land of stunning trees, blue sky and all-smiles. Plus, a day with ZZTop legend BILLY GIBBONS resulted in talking cars and a CADZILLA MUGSHOT!

FEATURED ART!! Fireball’s CHEVY C1O STINGER and CUSTOM FLEETSIDE EL CAMINO would both be insane SEMA Builds. Who’s up to bustin’ a MOOVE? Reach out!!

CONCEPT ART!! An early Imagineering piece entitled EPSILON ZERO and THE LOVEBIRD 1 from LOONEY TUNE BACK IN ACTION. Unbuilt… but there’s still time, ppl.

Fireball’s NEW COLORING BOOKS are about to get a NEW ADDITION THIS WEEK! But be sure to “Git ‘ta Colorin'” his MONSTER TRUCKS & MUSCLES CARS, available now at BARNES & NOBLE.

What are YOU most exited about this week?? LEAVE A COMMENT!!

1959 BEL AIR, ChevHell, Nasa, AutoPop & NEW CAR SHOW SAFARI!

Nuthin’ like a Saturday, hangin’ with AUTOMOTIVE POP CULTURE! And right outta the gate is Fireball’s snazzy sick cool 1959 CHEVY BEL AIR in Firecracker Red! It’s so Hot that your coffee will EXPLODE with dancing Jalapenos!!! (Seriously, it’s a bit creepy at first, but they are actually pretty good singers!)

DID YOU KNOW?? The 1960 Chevrolet Bel Air was designed by a team of designers at Chevrolet, with Bill Mitchell being a key figure in the overall design direction during that era. However, the specific details of the 1959 Bel Air’s design were likely the result of a collaborative effort, with other designers also contributing to the final product.

And meanwhile, ON PLANET FIREBALL… The Ball and Tommy picked this awesome 1962 CHEVY C1O as BEST OF SHOW for the Autism Rocks Car Show. Why?? If you have to ask, then you need to go sit down and ponder your existence…

FEATURED ART!! Fireball hits on all 24 Cylinders with his CHEVY MALIBU SS CHEVHELL Sketch as well as this 1954 CHEVY CUSTOM COUPE!! Both now in the Garage and both SICK AS F*$K!! Get ’em and we’ll send 10% to Dog Rescues!

CONCEPT ART!! Back in the 90’s, Fireball did this one piece for NASA, depicting a open platform Space Center, but 100 years in the future. Not built yet, but super cool. PLUS, another classic piece from SNOW WHITE: TALE OF TERROR!

ALL-NEW EPISODE OF CAR SHOW SAFARI!! The boys hit 5 shows last weekend and tons more starting today. Plus, Bubbles!!!

CAPTAIN SCARLET, Pinups, Herman, Snake & CHARLIE’S ANGELS!

What’s up TROUBLEMAKERS, and welcome to today’s AUTOMOTIVE POP CULTURE! Let’s kick some derriere with an all-new CAPTAIN SCARLET MUGSHOT and Masterprint! It’s SciFi… UP THE WAZOO!!

DID YOU KNOW?? Captain Scarlet was the first Gerry Anderson show in the 60’s where the puppets had human proportions. This was possible because the lip-synching mechanics were now small enough to fit in the puppets chests. Colonel White, Captain Black and the Mysterons were all voiced by the same artist – Donald Gray. The SPECTRUM PURSUIT VEHICLE’S secret was that it placed it’s driver backwards, minimising the damage caused by a crash. A camera on the front relays information to a television screen, where the image is flipped, and the driver simply drives this vehicle like they would with any other car. Wait… What???

And meanwhile, ON PLANET FIREBALL… PINUPS, YO!! And this sick lookin’ ’51 MERC spotted last weekend at a Car Show was one of the most California versions EVVA!

FEATURED ART!! Fireball’s CAPTAIN OCTOROD is badass and now has his own MUGSHOT! Plus… so does HERMAN, and he’s damn happy about it!! Should Fireball do more CHARACTER MUGS?? Let us know!!

CONCEPT ART!! Back in ’95, Fireball busted these out for Snake Plisskin and ESCAPE FROM LA. His Weapons Belt and Laser Mounted MACHINE GUN. Problem solved…

CHARLIE’S ANGELS MUGSHOTS ARE IN!! Farrah, Kate and Jackie can now be served… HOT BABY, HOT!!!!

Today’s BEST OF SHOW Episode is from THE SANTA PAULA CRUISE NIGHTS!! One of the coolest shows in SloCal… check out all the BOMBS, LOWRIDERS, MUSCLE, TRUCKS, BUGS & BEASTS!! Watch Below or ON YOUTUBE!

BULLITT, Badassery, Cadillac, Roadmaster & NEW BEST OF SHOW!

It’s an AUTOMOTIVE POP CULTURE Thursday and let’s get this party started with an all-new BULLITT MUSTANG MUGSHOT!! Nuthin’ better than a King of Cool trip to Slurp City! But oh, there’s more…

DID YOU KNOW?? The 11-minute car chase in the 1968 film “Bullitt” is considered one of the most iconic in movie history, featuring McQueen’s character, Lt. Frank Bullitt, in his Mustang chasing hitmen in a Dodge Charger. There were actually three Mustangs used in the movie, with chassis numbers 558, 559, and 560. Chassis 558 was severely damaged during filming and was sent to a scrapyard, but was later discovered in Mexico and restored. Chassis 559, arguably the most famous Mustang in the world, sold for $3.7 million in 2020! A new “Bullitt” film is in the works, produced by Steven Spielberg, with Bradley Cooper starring.

And meanwhile ON PLANET FIREBALL… The Ball meets up with this dude, RAUL and his sick-slammed ’52 CHEVY 3100! PLUS, takes a spin through Ventura on THE BEAST, landing in MARINA PARK with Mermaids!

FEATURED ART!! Car Show Safari Tommy is getting his Wagon built, close to this Fireball SKETCH, but better. Look for them at LOCAL CAR SHOWS this weekend in Westlake and Ojai! And if you need a pick-me-up, snag Fireball’s new 1959 CADILLAC SERIES 62 MUGSHOT or COLLECTIBLE CADILLAC ELDORADO… both now IN THE GARAGE!

CONCEPT ART! These two pieces were done for the film LOONEY TUNER BACK IN ACTION… originally title SPYJAM and SPYJINX!
