WOWZA. What a read. Fast-paced. Crazy plot lines. This was unlike anything I have ever read. My question is, Who really won with these head games? Thank you, Netgalley for this ARC

Review: Enticed by You
Enticed by You by Elle WrightMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
Thank you Netgalley for the ARC. Parker and Kennedi's story was the first in the Wellspring Series. Parker has taken over his father's company and he has to rebuild his father's bad reputation. Kennedi is in town taking a much-needed break. Neither one knew when they met by accident that love would follow. An intriguing read. I reallllyyy enjoyed the excerpt for book 2. Looking forward to it.

Review: The Woman Trapped in the Dark
The Woman Trapped in the Dark by J.D. MasonMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
This story had me on edge. Jordan and Abby are in love but Jordan has associates who want to see him succeed. I loved how the author made sure you understood each character and their actions even if you didn't like what they did. Plato intrigued me the most and I would love to learn more about him. Thank you Netgalley for this intense read.

Review: Room Service
Room Service by Rochelle AlersMy rating: 3 of 5 stars
I have read the other two books in the series and I was glad to catch up on the characters. Jasmine and Cameron's story was like a real-life romance. At times the descriptions slowed down the pacing. I love the happy-ever-after but there wasn't a lot of conflict. I am looking forward to the other two books in the series. Thank you Netgalley for this ARC.

Review: The Outside Child
The Outside Child by Tiffany L WarrenMy rating: 5 of 5 stars
If I could sum up this book in one word, it would be Wow. Tiffany Warren has navigated outside the Christian fiction genre with a very different and entertaining tale of marriage, love and forgiveness. The Outside Child is a slow build with strong, relatable, if not always likeable, lol, characters with a genuine love for each other. All I can say is that The Outside Child was not what I expected but it had some powerful elements and themes that had me gobbling up this read in hours.
Compelling Quote: "Being in love like this meant giving away all power. It meant putting your heart in the palm of another person's hand and hoping they didn't squeeze too tightly."
Thank you, Netgalley.

Review: Love in Catalina Cove
Love in Catalina Cove by Brenda JacksonMy rating: 5 of 5 stars
I absolutely loved loved this first story of the Catalina Cove series. There were times where I laughed and cried as I got to know the characters. I do admit that there were some story elements that really surprised and that some might see as far-fetched but I enjoyed it up until the ending. I can't wait to read the next book by Brenda Jackson. She doesn't disappoint. Thank you, NetGalley.

The Duke with the Dragon Tattoo by Kerrigan ByrneMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
This was a different tale than what I was expecting. Some aspects were graphic, emotional and I finished it in hours. It is my first time reading this author and am intrigued to read more. Thank you Netgalley.

Review: Sister of Mine
Sister of Mine by Laurie PetrouMy rating: 2 of 5 stars
While it didn't take me long to read, I found Sister of Mine to be an okay read. I don't know if it was the writing style or the flow of the story. I didn't like the second storyline involving the son and I wish the author had went there with the sisters. Go all the way to the edge.

Review: Envy
Envy by Victoria Christopher MurrayMy rating: 4 of 5 stars
I really enjoyed the second book of the Seven Deadly Sins series. I have been a VCM fan for years and as usual she does not disappoint. I read this on an airplane ride. It made the ride enjoyable although there was a moment where I had to hold my tears. Themes of love and forgiveness prevail throughout the read.
