The Scourge (Science Fiction & Fantasy)
1 chapters   —   updated May 13, 2015 06:34PM
Description: A mysterious plague descends upon 14th century England, ravaging the country and trapping the souls of the afflicted in eternal madness. The feudal hierarchy--and even the church itself-- slowly crumbles as the dead rise to feed and the living seek whatever shelter they can. The bishops of England call for calm and obedience, but one man isn’t listening. Sir Edward of Bodiam has been separated from the woman he loves and nothing on heaven or earth can stop him from seeking her out. Edward and two of his knights travel through the swiftly changing landscape of England, a countryside now overrun by the minions of hell. The knights encounter madness, violence, and sorrow, but Edward fights his way ever deeper into the thickening darkness of unholy terror. Roberto Calas brings you along on a dark, historical tale full of love, death, and black humor. Follow Edward as he journeys to save his wife, his kingdom, and his very soul.

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. I definitely did not see your reply to me. So Sorry!! I would absolutely love to read book 2. I was unsure if you had released it or not.
**I'll keep my fingers crossed regarding your other efforts with the interested publisher. :)
Newtown is finally looking like Fall (sans the constant rainfall). Halloween on Main Street should be great this year!

Roberto Calas I was planning on dropping it this week but had some interest from a publisher on another piece I have been working on. All efforts have now switched to the new piece for a few days. Then hopefully will have book 2 out next week. So sorry to keep you waiting =/ I can send over the *almost* completed version if you like. Would you be interested in beta reading it?
