Hi Laura, I'm glad you enjoyed the book! You're not mistaken about the Sense and Sensibility angle, although I didn't start out intending to do that. It was subconscious until chapter seven or so (where Highgate and Sophia have that conversation in the library about books), and then I realized what was happening. :)
Upperton's story is coming out in late August. I just turned in my copy edits on that one.
Hi! Thanks for friending me :-)I absolutely love "A most scandalous proposal"! Is it strange that it reminds me of Sense and Sensibility? Except of course for a more assertive kind of Edward (Benedict is such a marvellous hero! I love childhood friends turning into lovers :-D plus, every time I read his name, an image of Benedict Cumberbatch would pop into my mind, which is a bonus) and an even more dashing Colonel Brandon (Highgate was such a sweetheart! Couldn't decide if I wanted to be Sophia or Julia more!).
How long till Upperton's story?!
