This was the audible version. Good story, writing could have done with a better edit, though and it didn't help that sometime the narrator was off key with his rythym. Really thought the narrator could have done a better job and justice to the book. ...more

David Sorry for not responding. Last few months have been manic. Having my 1st Pale Battalions - The Dark Land novel published at the first attempt has been quite surreal, but I'm beginning to enjoy it. Now at 'the find reviewers stage'. Still enjoying reading, and looking forward to sharing thoughts on novels.
