Feds Bust High School Teacher and Illegal Immigrant in Gun-Buying Conspiracy | The Gateway Pundit
Just as millions of Americans are becoming more concerned about the open border due to the terrorism in Israel, a teacher and an illegal immigrant have been busted for what basically amounts to arms trafficking.
The illegal immigrant in this case had actually been deported but was able to sneak back into the country.
The Washington Times reports:
Feds bust illegal immigrant in gun-buying conspiracy
A high school teacher left his dog in a hot car for an hour and a half while he made illegal straw purchases of guns, which he turned over to an illegal immigrant who then spread them around, including two weapons that were later used in shootings.
Federal agents kept an eye on the whole scene, and moved in for the bust, arresting both the gun buyer and the illegal immigrant — though the dog perished, federal authorities said Tuesday as they announced multi-year sentences for the two culprits.
Prosecutors said DeAndre Cannon, the teacher and basketball coach, bought nearly four dozen guns in Georgia over four months in 2022, handing them off to Conroy Samuels, a Jamaican illegal immigrant who’d been deported but snuck back in, and who also had a 2003 conviction for attempted murder on his rap sheet.
Samuels then distributed the weapons, including the ones used in multiple shootings in Connecticut, authorities said.
Samuels had to rely on Cannon, 34, for the purchases because neither illegal immigrants nor felons are generally allowed to purchase or possess firearms.

A previously deported undocumented alien with a violent criminal history, and a former school paraprofessional who fatally abandoned a dog in a hot car while straw purchasing firearms, have been sentenced to federal prison for their roles in trafficking guns later used in shootings.
“Firearms traffickers fuel gun violence in our communities placing citizens at risk of injury and death,” said U.S. Attorney Ryan K. Buchanan. “Our office is committed to partnering with our federal, state, and local law enforcement partners to pursue and prosecute criminals whose disregard for life contributes to the illegal flow of guns onto our streets.”
“Although we are very pleased with the success of this operation, unfortunately this operation highlights the persistence of illegal firearms trafficking and demonstrates that this type of crime is real, extant, and must be continuously battled,” said ATF Assistant Special Agent in Charge Alicia Jones. “ATF will continue to work alongside our federal, state and local partners in furtherance of reducing gun crime.”
Who knew that the feds were still capable of making this type of arrest?

Joe Biden’s scandal spokesman Ian Sams on Monday said Biden has spent the last two days with Special Counsel Robert Hur about his handling of stolen classified documents.
“The President has been interviewed as part of the investigation being led by Special Counsel Robert Hur. The voluntary interview was conducted at the White House over two days, Sunday and Monday, and concluded Monday. As we have said from the beginning, the President and the White House are cooperating with this investigation, and as it has been appropriate, we have provided relevant updates publicly, being as transparent as we can consistent with protecting and preserving the integrity of the investigation. We would refer other questions to the Justice Department at this time,” a statement from Ian Sams read.
Joe Biden STOLE SCIF-designated classified documents and improperly stored them at the Penn Biden Center.
Biden also stored classified documents in his garage next to his Corvette where his son Hunter had access to the sensitive materials.
Nine boxes of documents were taken from Joe Biden’s lawyer’s Boston office and we have no idea what is in those boxes because the National Archives is covering up for Biden.
Joe Biden is also withholding information from the Senate Intel Committee.
Merrick Garland appointed Robert Hur as special counsel to investigate the stolen documents in January and Biden was just now interviewed 10 months later.

A man claiming to have a bomb climbed the Ferris wheel at the Santa Monica pier in Los Angeles Monday afternoon.
The nation is on high alert after Hamas terrorists ambushed Israel and took Americans hostage.
A man scaled the Ferris Wheel and claimed he had a bomb in his backpack.

The unidentified man was tackled and taken into custody after an hour of negotiations. According to reports, there was no bomb in the man’s bag.

The Santa Monica Police Department evacuated Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier Monday afternoon after a man claiming to have a bomb scaled the iconic Ferris wheel.
The incident began around 3 p.m., when witnesses heard the man allegedly make comments about being in possession of a bomb.
At some point, the man scaled the famous Ferris wheel and refused to come down.
A crisis negotiation team was called to the scene and was in contact with the man in hopes of getting him to surrender.
After about an hour of talking with the man, he began working his way down the structure, where he was quickly apprehended by police just before 4:30 p.m.

China rolls out plan to boost computing power infrastructure
Six Chinese government departments, including the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, have jointly released an action plan to promote the high-quality development of computing infrastructure in China.
China’s computing power is in a race against the U.S.According to an Oct. 9 joint announcement by several Chinese governmental agencies, the action plan aims to strengthen China’s capabilities in computing power, network transmission, and data storage by 2025.
One of the primary objectives is to dramatically increase our computing power, aiming for a threshold beyond 300 exaflops — each exaflop represents the capability to compute one quintillion floating point operations per second. What’s interesting to note here is the emphasis on intelligent computing, which is anticipated to form 35% of the entire computing power.
While it is not entirely clear, from the context, it appears that what translates as “intelligent computing” is a subset of computing power enhanced for or meant to be used in artificial intelligence applications. Furthermore, there’s a strategic vision of ensuring that the development of this immense computing power is distributed evenly between the eastern and western parts of China.
Those data centers target a network transmission latency that’s no more than 1.5 times the theoretical minimum. The vision also includes embracing forward-thinking networking standards, with IPv6 and SRv6 projected to form a significant 40% of both backbone and metro networks.
Storage is another pivotal area of focusThe nation is gearing up to amplify its total storage capacity, aspiring to surpass 1,800 exabytes — each exabyte equivalent to one billion gigabytes. Additionally, China plans a 100% backup coverage of core data in pivotal industries.
Beyond just infrastructure, there’s also a vision to spur innovation in harnessing this computing power. This entails nurturing and encouraging a variety of new business models and novel ways to apply computing power. For instance, there’s a drive to significantly increase the integration of this advanced computing in sectors like manufacturing and finance.
The success stories from these sectors are intended to be replicated and broadened in areas such as healthcare and transportation. Those will be followed by further expansion into fields like energy and education. The goal is to have at least 30 benchmark applications in every crucial domain.
Key measures outlined in the plan include optimizing the layout of computing facilities, building an efficient computing network, promoting the collaborative development of computing and storage, enabling deeper industry applications of computing power, facilitating green and low-carbon computing, and strengthening security capabilities.

Joe Biden has been touting his economy, which has seen inflation explode to more than 9%, mortgage rates balloon to the 7% plus range and millions of American families lose thousands of dollars in buying power, as Bidenomics.
That might not help him, heading into the 2024 presidential race, as a new report confirms that there’s a new – attention-getting – economic indicator flashing that “hasn’t appeared since the 1930s, during the height of the Great Depression.”
The warning comes from Fox Business, which explained, “if the White House and Congress do not cut inflation-causing government spending soon, the results could be catastrophic.”
The report noted that spending surged at the end of President Donald Trump’s term, because of COVID.
The Democrat Congress then handed out “vast amounts of money” to subsidize the economy, the financial system and more.

Lara called Colbert’s false accusation that she auto-tuned her vocals “a slanderous attack rooted in his own political hatred.” The song was not auto-tuned. However, leftist trolls did manipulate a clip of Lara Trump singing, likely for malicious purposes. Colbert, who is such a loser, unpleasantly labeled Lara a “Kirkland-brand Gwyneth Paltrow.”
Colbert also lied claiming, “The song wasn’t an immediate hit.”
As The Gateway Pundit reported earlier, Lara Trump’s cover of Tom Petty’s ‘I Won’t Back Down’ with First Class Records is topping the charts, despite and negative media coverage, peaking at number two on iTunes’ country chart and number four on Amazon’s new country chart. The song is also confirmed to debut on up to three Billboard music charts this week!
First Class Records President LJ Fino shared an article last week from AP, fact-checking the “haters and losers,” who “will stop at nothing to make @LaraLeaTrump [and] her family look bad.” Fino also confirmed that the song released on September 29 has organic vocals made with “ZERO AUTO TUNE OR MELODYNE.”

For the first time in a long time, the AP has done a real fact check, reporting:
CLAIM: Video shows Lara Trump singing an off-key cover of “I Won’t Back Down” during an appearance on Sky News Australia.
AP’S ASSESSMENT: Altered video. The clip’s audio was edited to make it appear as if Trump was singing very off-key. The original footage published on the news network’s YouTube channel shows Trump’s actual vocals, and the user who posted the manipulated version on social media subsequently acknowledged he had changed it with audio-editing software.
THE FACTS: Former President Donald Trump’s daughter-in-law recently released a cover of late rock musician Tom Petty’s 1989 song “I Won’t Back Down” and was asked to sing a few bars in an appearance last week on Sky News Australia.

In other news, it doesn’t appear that Stephen Colbert and Paramount Studios are following the law with their dishonest attacks on Lara Trump’s cover song.
While attacking Trump on The Late Show, Colbert used the recording of her song without permission from Trump or the label. It appears that Colbert, CBS Network, and its parent company, Paramount, may have violated the law by using the song without permission. In an email to producers and legal counsel, Fino invited Colbert to invite Lara Trump on his show to sing live in front of his studio audience!
First Class Records President LJ Fino told The Gateway Pundit, “This is a classic Hollywood liberal move. As we released this hit song, all we heard from ‘trump hating’ individuals were complaints about not following the law by recording a cover song, when in fact, we hold a cover license granting us the rights to do so.”
“For a late-night television host who incessantly discusses the topic of following the rule of law, it saddens me that Paramount and Stephen Colbert chose not to follow the law by airing our recording on his show without permission,” Fino added.
Lara Trump told The Gateway Pundit, “If Stephen Colbert thinks I used auto-tune, I am happy to come on his show and perform live. It is a slanderous attack rooted in his own political hatred.”
Colbert’s only funny joke was when he quipped, “her singing has been legally designated as domestic terrorism,” which could be perceived as a jab at the DOJ’s targeting of conservatives. As The Gateway Pundit recently reported, with the 2024 election season and election interference by the left heating up, the FBI has created a new terrorism category to include Trump supporters speaking out against rigged elections! This, along with President Trump’s numerous speech crime indictments and politically motivated lawsuits by Marxist prosecutors, gives Colbert’s joke some sense.

There’s definitely some news coming out after… She hasn’t made the announcement yet, but with the fact that there is candidate filings coming out in the news, she’s basically already announced, except we’re just waiting for Tuesday. Interestingly, last night, I was able to talk to Abe Hamadeh in an exclusive interview. He endorsed Kari Lake for Senate in 2024. I also saw a pretty great video of Kari Lake going after one of her upcoming Senate opponents in 2024, Democrat Rep. Ruben Gallego.
One of the most interesting things about this race, in my opinion, is we’re gonna see something we haven’t seen before here in Arizona, which is a three-way Senate race with an Independent involved. We’re also going to have this No Labels party on the ballot. So, it’s unclear right now if Kyrsten Sinema is going to run as an independent, if she’s gonna run as No Labels, or quite frankly, what No Labels is going to do for the Senate.
Louden: As the rightful Governor of the State of Arizona, as we know Kari actually is, she could have really stopped illegal immigration on the border. And she pledged to, which is the reason why they stole that election from her. As Senator Lake, Jordan, can she be that effective?
Conradson: Not on the level she would on the local level, as a governor, where she can build the wall, be the state’s executive to take over that responsibility. However, in the Senate, I do trust that Kari Lake, you know, she’s been in Arizona for decades. She knows the issues on the border. She is committed to fighting for it. You know, that was one of the biggest issues on her gubernatorial campaign was the border and the radical left, Joe Biden, what he’s doing, leaving our southern border open, the fact that Katie Hobbs, the Democrats, Kris Mayes, who also stole the election, they’re not enforcing the law. They don’t want to enforce the law. They want to leave that border wide open because it brings them more voters for 2024. And that’s another concern we have is with Democrats in charge, we’ve got a former cartel attorney running the elections in Arizona, we’ve got a corrupt Attorney General who hasn’t even been a litigator… And then, of course, our governor is a Soros-funded crook, who stole the election, can’t put a sentence together, and campaigned from the basement, much like Joe Biden. So, those are two issues we’re looking at in 2024: the border and election integrity. We see what they’re trying to do with President Trump. We’ll see what they try to do to Kari Lake, who has spoken out about the election and had felony charges threatened against her by state officials before.

Joe Biden on Monday released a weak statement on “American citizens impacted in Israel” as Hamas threatens to kill American hostages and post the executions online.
Hamas militants launched a surprise attack on Israel, catching the country off-guard during a major Jewish holiday. The attack involved thousands of rockets and dozens of fighters infiltrating Israeli towns near the Gaza Strip.

At least 11 Americans have been killed in the ambush terror attack and many have been taken hostage.
Hamas terrorists are threatening to kill the hostages and post the grisly executions online. The terrorists have already beheaded Israeli soldiers.
Many Americans are still unaccounted for.
Biden released a weak statement after hiding from the public for two days. He spent barely 3 minutes mumbling through remarks on Saturday before shuffling away. The public has not seen Biden since Saturday.
“Sadly we know that at least 11 American citizens were among those killed–many of whom made a second home in Israel,” the statement read.
“It’s heart wrenching. These families have been torn apart by inexcusable hatred and violence. We also know that American citizens still remain unaccounted for, and we are working with Israeli officials to obtain more information as to their whereabouts. My heart goes out to every family impacted by the horrible events of the past few days. The pain these families have endured, the enormity of their loss, and the agony of those still awaiting information is unfathomable,” Biden said.
Biden said his administration is still working to confirm Americans are being held hostage.
How does he not know 3 days into the war?
“The safety of American citizens–whether at home or abroad–is my top priority as President,” Biden laughably said as he keeps the borders wide open and allows dangerous illegals and terrorists to pour into the US.
Biden said the State Department is providing consular assistance to Americans in Israel.
