Clemson University Students Protest After School Removes Feminine Hygiene Products From Campus Men’s Rooms | The Gateway Pundit
In the age of woke, some schools have started putting tampons in men’s rooms in case a trans man is using the bathroom and needs one.
At Clemson University, the College Republicans mocked the school for doing this and the school eventually removed the products.
Now students are protesting because everything is this stupid now.

Students at Clemson University held a march this week to protest the removal of feminine hygiene products from men’s bathrooms on campus.
“About 50 students marched across Clemson University on Wednesday to demand that menstrual products be returned to men’s bathrooms in Cooper Library and that the Clemson College Republicans be reprimanded for their role in the tampons’ removal,” The College Fix wrote on Friday.
“Take Back Pride” holds an annual march, but the main student organizer of the event, Pan Tankersley declared, “Today, we are marching for the reinstatement of the menstrual products in the men’s restrooms in Cooper Library and throughout campus.”
This follows the reported quiet removal of these dispensaries from men’s rooms after the Clemson College Republicans condemned their presence on social media.
“If you weren’t aware already, Clemson University has tampon/pad dispensers in the MEN’S restrooms located in Cooper Library,” the conservative student organization tweeted in mid-September, adding, “We truly live in [clown] world.”

PS5 Slim marks the beginning of the end for game discs
OPINION: Sony has revealed an all-new design for the PS5, with a more slender design seeing fans unofficially name the revamped console the PS5 Slim.
Sony claims it has reduced the size of the original PS5 by 30%, with a tighter casing and narrower design. It’s an impressive feat, while seemingly maintaining the same level of cooling to prevent the fans from going into overdrive as they did on the PS4.
But the most interesting aspect about the PS5 Slim is what Sony has done with the disc drive. Rather than physically integrating it into the design of the PS5, Sony has instead made it a modular add-on accessory. You can still purchase the PS5 with the disc drive pre-attached, but it’s now removable and can even be purchased separately.
It’s a clever move by Sony, as it streamlines the manufacturing process since both the PS5 and PS5 Digital now have the same core design, with the only difference being the detachable disc drive. Previously, there were concerns that factories had to find a careful balance of the production of both the PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition in order to meet demand.
However, when looking at the new PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition side by side, I can’t help but feel that Sony has compromised on its vision by fitting on that disc drive, resulting in an unsightly design with a bulge that looks like some kind of growth. In comparison, the PS5 Digital Edition looks beautiful, with its case curving inwards in order to take up as little space as possible.
It’s clear to me that Sony prioritised the design of the Digital Edition, and then worked backwards in order to incorporate the modular disc drive. This is a curious decision, with VGChartz reporting back in 2020 that the PS5 Digital Edition was the less popular option with gamers, only taking up 25% of the total sales – although that could have changed in the following three years.
But there’s no doubt that the digital games market is on an upwards trajectory. Push Square reported back in July 2022 that nearly 80% of all game sales on PS4 and PS5 were digital purchases rather than a physical disc. With such results, it’s no surprise that Sony is edging towards making the disc drive as an optional add-on accessory rather than integrating it into the design.
I have to say that, despite early pessimism, I now embrace the all-digital age. When the PS5 first launched I opted for the disc drive model, as I wanted to still have the option to purchase discs as well make use of my Blu-Ray collection. But that seems like a waste of money in hindsight, as I rarely ever buy physical game discs and I now find myself watching Netflix, Disney Plus and the like rather than digging out any of my old Blu-Rays.
The only use case of the disc drive that I’ve found to be useful is enabling me to play my old PS4 games on the PS5 console, especially if there’s been a ‘next-gen’ update for the likes of Witcher 3. But once the PS6 launches, I doubt that will be an issue since almost all of my PS5 games are now digital.
I also think the move to all-digital consoles will be fantastic for the environment. We’d reduce the amount of plastic waste, as well as the CO₂ emissions caused by delivering games to the many retailers across the globe.
Sony will likely be hesitant to switch entirely over to digital games, as it will risk upsetting major retailers such as Amazon. But there’s no reason why online retailers can’t stock additional game codes for digital downloads instead. Such a move would also prevent Sony from having a closed market for game sales, ensuring that there’s still competitive pricing.
The only plausible argument I can think of in favour of retaining physical game discs is game preservation. Nintendo’s recent closure of the 3DS and Wii U eShops reignited concerns that it’s becoming increasingly more difficult to access older digital games. The only solace is that most old games are still available in disc format, but that would no longer be the case if Sony did decide to axe physical games entirely for the PS6.
More needs to be done to ease concerns in regards to game preservation, but there’s no reason why Sony can’t ensure that a digital library of older PlayStation games can be accessible to all, either through the cloud or even on PC given Sony’s increased interest in the platform.
Either way, the PS5 Slim is evidence that Sony no longer views the disc drive as an essential component for its console. In fact, it seems like Sony views it more like an irritating obstacle after seeing how it has been forced to compromise on the looks of its latest console. All signs point towards the PS6 becoming the first all-digital console, and that may not be such a bad thing.

Federal Lawsuit Filed Over New York State Ban on Gas Stoves That Democrats Said Wasn’t Happening | The Gateway Pundit
Remember the stupid ban on gas stoves? The one that Democrats insisted wasn’t happening?
Two professional groups have just filed a federal lawsuit over the ban in New York, claiming that the state doesn’t have the authority to put such a ban in place.
There needs to be more legal action like this. Democrats are out of bounds on this issue.

New York gas stove ban heats up as gas and construction groups file federal lawsuit
A group of gas and construction trade groups filed a federal lawsuit Thursday challenging the legality of New York’s ban on gas stoves and furnaces in new residential buildings in a move to challenge Democratic Gov. Kathy Hochul’s push for green energy.
The case was filed by the National Association of Home Builders and the National Propane Gas Association, among others and names the New York Department of State as a defendant on the lawsuit.
The lawsuit alleges that New York does not have the legal ability to enforce the gas stove ban because a preexisting federal law, called the Energy Policy and Conservation Act (EPCA) of 1975, already regulates energy use policies.
“EPCA reflects Congress’s decision that the nation’s energy policy cannot be dictated by state and local governments,” the lawsuit says. “Such a patchwork approach would be the antithesis of a national energy policy.”
The builder and propane associations are asking a federal judge to rule that the state’s ban is unenforceable under federal law and for it to be blocked before it takes effect in 2026.
Republicans in the state are against the ban.

Catholics in New York City drew a massive crowd for a Eucharistic procession that was part of a mass for Israel this week.
This is the opposite of what we have seen from the radical left in recent days, which has been holding rallies in support for the murderers of Hamas.
It just goes to show that there are good people everywhere in America, even in New York.

Father Mike Schmitz Offers Mass for Israel in NYC Before Eucharistic Procession
On Tues., Oct. 10, thousands of Catholics gathered in New York City for Napa Institute’s Mass and Eucharistic procession at Saint Patrick’s Cathedral with renowned Catholic priest and speaker Father Mike Schmitz.
Father Mike celebrated Mass at 4:30 p.m. and later led Benediction and a Eucharistic procession through the streets of Manhattan.
Father Mike told participants he offered the Mass for peace in Israel after the Hamas attack, which took the lives of at least 1,200 people.
According to recent reports, the American death toll rose to 27. The Biden Administration announced they will work to evacuate U.S. citizens currently in Israel.
After mentioning Israel, Father Mike encouraged listeners to visit the country’s Via Dolorosa if ever given the chance.
Via Dolorosa is Latin for “Sorrowful Way.” It is the path Jesus took while carrying the cross on His way to Calvary.
“When He walked through the streets of Jerusalem carrying His cross, this was not Jesus in His glory. This was not Jesus in His power,” Father Mike said. “When God was in the process of saving the world, most people didn’t even know what was going on.”
“Many of them spat upon him and abused him as God was in the process of saving the world–as God was in the process of pouring himself out and love for us,” he said.

To begin, unlock the Pixel 8 Pro so you’re looking at your home screen.
2Open the Thermometer app
The temperature sensor, which is located on the back of the Pixel 8 Pro, is controlled via an app called Thermometer. Locate this app in the app drawer, or use the search bar to find it.
3Tap Object Temperature
Once the app is open, tap Object Temperature.
4Select material
Next, you’ll need to select the material you’re going to be taking the temperature of. You can choose from a Default option, or be specific by choosing from the likes of Cast Iron, Shiny Metal, Fabric, Wood and Beverages.
5Tap the screen to measure
Once you’ve chosen your material, the next step is to point the phone at the item you want to measure. Google suggests you point the sensor within 5 cm or 2 inches of the object for the best results. With the phone pointing at the object, hit the large ‘Tap to measure’ button in the middle of the display.
6Take note of the temperature
The temperature of the object should now appear on the screen where the ‘Tap to measure’ icon was previously.
The temperature sensor is only available on the Pixel 8 Pro and there’s no Thermometer app on the Pixel 8.

ICYMI: Hamas Calls on Palestinian People, Arab and Muslim Nations to INVADE Israel on Friday and Confront Israeli Soldiers for ‘Al-Aqsa Flood Operation’ | The Gateway Pundit
On Tuesday, the Hamas terrorist group issued a statement declaring Friday, October 13, as a day of general mobilization for the “Al-Aqsa Flood” operations. The militant organization has called on Palestinians in the West Bank and within Israel to participate in large-scale rallies towards the border of Israel and confront Israeli soldiers at every opportunity.
The Al-Aqsa Mosque is situated atop a hill known to Jews as Har ha-Bayit, or the Temple Mount, and to Muslims as al-Haram al-Sharif, meaning the Noble Sanctuary, in Jerusalem’s historic Old City, WION reported.
Worldwide, the mosque is the third most sacred site in Islam, following Mecca and Medina. The Al-Aqsa complex is home to two revered sites: the Al-Aqsa Mosque itself and the Dome of the Rock, a structure dating back to the seventh century. It is said that from this location, the Prophet Muhammad made his miraculous ascent to heaven.
Hamas urges Palestinians residing within Israel to participate in guarding duties within Al-Aqsa Mosque “to safeguard it, its Islamic heritage, and its divine message.”
The statement also calls upon Arabs, Muslims, and Palestinians in refugee camps worldwide to converge in massive gatherings and support the Palestinian cause.
The statement also emphasizes the need for unity among Palestinians, Arabs, and Muslims in defending the Al-Aqsa Mosque and confronting Israelis.

Engage with their soldiers and cowardly army in every place, affirming the unity of destiny and the path towards Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa, liberating them from the defilement of the Zionist occupation.

On the same day, Khaled Mashal, the former leader and founding member of Hamas, called for a global Muslim uprising in support of Palestine, as reported first by The Gateway Pundit.
During an address posted on YouTube which is now in private, Mashal emphasized the need for Muslims to sacrifice and carry Jihad, including the willingness to offer their blood and souls to advance the Palestinian cause.
The most harrowing part of Mashal’s speech was his direct appeal for Muslims to engage in Jihad by laying down their lives for the cause. While terrorism is nothing new, this clear and explicit call for people to become martyrs in a holy war against Israel is bone-chilling.
Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) military wing, al-Quds Brigades, also issued a warning on Thursday.
“We, at the Al-Quds Brigades and the Palestinian resistance announce, on the fifth day of the heroic Operation Al-Aqsa Flood, that the war is no longer limited to Gaza alone.”

REAL OR HOAX? Couple Riding Train Through Colorado Mountains Claim They Captured Footage of a Bigfoot (VIDEO) | The Gateway Pundit
A couple riding a train through Colorado claim that they inadvertently captured footage of a Bigfoot.
In the clip which you can watch below, a tall figure is seen walking across the landscape before sitting down on the ground.
Is this a hoax or is there a logical explanation for the figure in the video?

Bigfoot Caught on Video in Colorado Mountains
A Colorado couple, Shannon and Stetson Parker, were taking a trip through the mountains on a narrow-gauge steam-powered train on Sunday. The train ride passes through San Juan National Forest, which is nearly 2 million acres of wild, mountainous terrain. Not only that, but the park abuts another wildlife preserve, the Rio Grande National Forest, which also encompasses close to 2 million acres. The vastness of the wild open space in this part of the country could certainly provide a haven for Bigfoot to thrive undetected — if he exists.
The Parkers were enjoying the stunning view outside the train windows and watching for wildlife, so they were perfectly positioned to spot the Sasquatch as he went about his business. They and a fellow passenger were able to capture video and still images of the elusive creature.
