I was blessed to have been born and raised in the fabulous Houston, Texas. After the great start my parents gave me, I went off to Rhode Island where I became a graduate of Johnson & Wales University. Here I am, years later, an author!

I love cooking, crafting, volunteering, spending time with my friends and family, and enjoying the near by beach.

Hi Goodreads world!

This is my first Goodreads blog post, and I hope I don't forget to posts blogs on here! So, what's going on with me? I have my first book coming out in January 2013. I am also getting ready to travel to Chicago for a Girl Scouting event. Once I get home, I hope to be able to shift my focus back to my cookbook for a little bit. After that, it's all about Allison Flanagan!
