Michael G. Williams writes wry horror, urban fantasy, and science fiction: stories of monsters, bizarre futures, macabre humor, and subverted expectations. Michael also writes short stories and contributes to tabletop RPG development. He strives to present the humor and humanity at the heart of horror and speculation.

Michael is also an avid podcaster, activist, reader, runner, and gaymer, and is a brother in St. Anthony Hall and Mu Beta Psi. He lives in Durham, NC, with his husband, various animals,, and more and better friends than he probably deserves.

Thank you for reviewing it! I’m so glad you enjoyed it! To answer your questions:

1) Yes, The Withrow Chronicles are vampire novels. Each one mashed up vampires with some other genre, too, to keep things fresh. I really love Withrow, and the fifth and final-ish book in the series is coming out VERY soon, so now is an excellent time to dive in.

2) I am sorry to hear about that, especially the unexpectedly increased price. It sounds to me like they may have ordered it from Amazon and then added a markup. You should be able to order any of my novels from any bookseller who can get books from Ingram’s. Ask at the store if Ingram’s is your me of their distributors and if so you should be good to go. They’re also all available through Amazon of course, but I really appreciate your support of local bookstores and encourage you to order them from one that can get them!(less)
Michael G. Williams I'm currently working on two short stories for anthologies and the fourth novel of The Withrow Chronicles, titled ATTEMPTED IMMORTALITY.

Allison Dickson, Sekhmet Press, and the Donum Dei Trilogy!

Michael Williams: First things first: what can you tell us about the new book(s) with Sekhmet Press? Allison Dickson: Jennifer Greene first approached me about the possibility of re-releasing a silly vampire book I’d written and released a number of years ago called Scarlet Letters: The Tale of the Vampire Mailman. Because it had been … Continue reading » Read more of this blog post »

"A highly enjoyable read!

I wasn't sure about a collection of short stories featuring the undead but, nevertheless, gave it a try. To my surprise I really enjoyed this book. The stories were all different. To be sure , the vampire theme was a constant " Read more of this review »

A Fall in Autumn by Michael G. Williams
"A Fall in Autumn was one of my favorite reads this year. It is like nothing else I have read before and that is always thrilling. It is a sci-fi noir that features a trouble private eye--Valerius Bakhoum who has to solve his last case. He's battling " Read more of this review »
