1 chapters   —   updated May 13, 2015 06:33PM
Description: A post-apocalyptic world, an unlikely band of Revolutionaries, this is the memoir of their struggles and triumphs. A woman describes a refugee colony's dramatic rise to power. The governmental shift was bound to happen, the only question in the matter is who will be the leader of this new nation. Written in first person, this memoir provides an inside look at those whose lives are destined to become swallowed up and defined by political intrigue.

This was the book I did NOT want to write...
I went on strike several times during the creation of it. I'd shut down the file and not return to it for months. It made me dig deep into my soul and ask hard questions that I didn't want to answer.

Oh this is such a neat book! My kids love it. The rhymes are fun, and the drawings make them giggle. I've heard that it's only the beginning of a set of stories surrounding the Alef-Pets, too. Which would be pretty cool.

Tabby Cat "this book is awesome! every time i put it down for bed, the next day i wanted to read more and more!!! its a good story line; good character development. the experiences for the characters are adventurous and suspenseful! the book keeps you hanging onto every chapter that comes along! it has all different genres involved. suspense/horror/mystery/adventure/thriller/etc. the characters are even multidimensional in that they have their own personalities and traits about them that make them more believable! heck even the bad guys are likeable! and that certainly means a GREAT READING EXPERIENCE! I definitely give this book a double thumbs up. and it even makes you think more in depth about GODS LOVE! and put in better perspective on just how much he loves those that are way low on the religious spectrum so to speak... the nitty gritty down to earth blah of society GOD loves just as much as any other human past present and future! this book dives deep into
the "heart of the matter" all about LOVE that glorious four letter word that keeps everyone on the edges of their seats with anticipation, excitement and suspense that reigns in this new adventure!"
