Kissing her Crush wants to make out with you!
Heyyy! Release days are always hyperly-nerve wracking, right? But for my brand new baby, KISSING HER CRUSH, I’m armed with many-a Hershey’s miniatures and a stupid caf-free Diet Coke to get me through today!
Check out all the deliciously sweet love:
(***Warning: this book has tons of making out and even more chocolate. Have sweets and a hot guy within arms reach if you choose to read.)
He’s sweet trouble…
Natalie Holden wants three things: To be the best chocolate chemist in Hershey, Pennsylvania, to prove her chocolate recipe can help teenage depression, and to get over gorgeous Luke Elliott, the guy she’s had a crush on since birth. Unfortunately, he’s the microbiologist set to debunk her chocolate study. And, of course, he looks more delicious than ever!
Luke Elliott is still bitter over his divorce. Work is his passion now, and landing a huge promotion is just what he needs. What he doesn’t need is a crackpot trying to prove that chocolate cures depression. The last thing he expects is for the crackpot to be Natalie Holden–his “what if” girl from high school–or that she’d still tempt the hell out of him.
They may not see eye-to-eye on her project, but they can’t deny the explosive chemistry that keeps pulling them together. Even when it risks their jobs and the very different futures they both want…

The month of months
In October, not only does the Texas weather FINALLY calm the heck down, but also my local art house theater plays Hitchcock movies all month. Can we say huzzah!
Since I can tell you’re wondering, Psycho has always been my favorite. Well, The Birds is actually my favorite. Well, okay, so maybe it’s a tie depending on my mood. The theater isn’t showing The Birds this year, but Psycho is this year’s last feature. Plus, I have it on DVD, so there shall be loads o’ Norman Bates and Mother this October. And there was much rejoicing. Also, I have a butt-load of Twilight Zones to watch, as well as Love At First Bite, Spider Baby and Watcher in the Woods. It’s going to be a heck of a month.

Chalk Lines & Lipstick release & giveaway!
I’m way too excited about my book releasing today. Not only is it with a brand new publisher (the lovely Gemma Halliday), but I am also venturing away from my comfy home of romance to take a stab at cozy mystery. (Pun intended, of course!) To celebrate, I’ve got a rafflecopter giveaway for your chance to win a super-cute lippy set from Sephora (check out the goodies HERE), or a gift card from Sephora.
But first . . . book stuff. :)
Maren Colepepper thought she had it all: a career at a fashion magazine, a successful boyfriend, and a glamorous New York lifestyle. She thought wrong. When her glamorous life suddenly goes belly up, Maren finds herself forced to take the only job she can find at a small town newspaper in the tiny northern California hometown she fled ten years ago.
While Maren expected her new job in no-wheres-ville to kill her with boredom, She never expected to be front row to a shooting on her very first day! Worse yet, Maren is knocked unconscious at the scene, and when she comes to, the body has gone missing and she’s been scooped by another reporter. Talk about a bad first impression. Now Maren is hot on the trail of the story of a lifetime, involving a shady lumber mill and the foresting of old-growth redwoods—a ginormous crime in her neck of the woods! Between her suddenly flirty new editor, her supremely hot new neighbor, and a lovably meddling family, Maren find small town life anything but boring. But if she can’t find the shooter before he strikes again, it may even become deadly!
Now that you want to buy it so badly you can’t breathe, here are some buy links:

Miles is on SALE!
SALE ! SALE! SALE!
As you can tell, I might be just a tiiiiny bit excited about this. My awesome publisher has drop the price of Aimee & the Heartthrob from 2.99 to .99 for one week. This is kind of a huge deal because it’s the first time any of the Backstage Pass books have gone on sale, and we’re all super stoked to bring our smexy boy band boys into the hands of even more readers!
He never noticed her before, but now she’s all he can see…
Miles Carlisle is every teen girl’s fantasy. His rugged good looks and exotic British accent have helped catapult his boy band, Seconds to Juliet, to super-stardom. But after two disastrous and very public breakups, Miles isn’t interested in dating just any girl; he wants The One. And the only girl he’s interested in is not only his best friend’s little sister–and off-limits–but won’t even give him the time of day…
As a kid, Aimee Bingham had a huge thing for Miles…until he made fun of her for always tagging along. Now that she’s outgrown both him and her pigtails, the prospect of spending two weeks on tour with the childhood crush who broke her heart isn’t exactly enticing. Except now Miles seems interested. Very interested. And no matter how hard Aimee tries to resist him, her crush is definitely making a comeback.
But everyone knows that falling for a heartthrob is a backstage pass to heartbreak…
This Entangled Teen Crush book contains references to drug use, drinking, some sexual content, and lots and lots of kissing. Its swoonworthy hero may ruin all others for you.
Need I say more? :)
