STUNNING! Memorials erupt worldwide for American Charlie Kirk

A memorial for Charlie Kirk in Germany.Memorials have erupted spontaneously around the United States for Charlie Kirk, 31, the co-founder of Turning Point USA who was gunned down by an assassin while holding a free speech event in Utah this week.
A suspect, Tyler Robinson, in his 20s, was arrested and is facing a list of charges including murder, which could trigger discussion of the death penalty.
Kirk’s impact in the United States, where his fans unabashedly credit him with doing a large part of the work to put President Donald Trump in the White House by encouraging young people to support him, has been evident:

Senate goes nuclear in response to Dems’ orchestrated anti-Trump ideologies

U.S. Sen. John Thune, R-S.D.In the face of the Democrats’ persistent and recalcitrant opposition to any and all nominees presented by the administration of President Donald Trump for approval by the U.S. Senate, the Republican majority there is taking drastic action.
They’ve changed rules, taking the so-called “nuclear option” to facilitate the Senate endorsement of the workers Trump needs to carry out his work to repair and restore America following years of damage by the Joe Biden regime.
A recent attempt at a bipartisan agreement failed, so they adopted a rules change with a simple majority vote to break through the Democrats’ blockade, demanded by Minority Leader Chuck Schumer. Approval of nominees now will take just 51 votes instead of 60.
Lawmakers were frustrated that, through the first eight months of Trump’s presidency, not a single nominee had moved through fast-track unanimous consent or voice votes. Democrats had launched opposition to each and every person.
It was in a report at Cowboy State Daily in Wyoming that Sen. John Barrasso, R-Wyo., called out Schumer, a New York Democrat, for his unprecedented stalling.
More than 1,000 presidential appointments remain in limbo because of the Democrats.
“Typically, the minority party allows obscure, noncontroversial nominees to be approved in large batches, known as ‘en banc.’ This usually happens through unanimous consent or a voice vote, both of which are quick procedures. But this Congress, Senate Democrats have not allowed a single nominee of this nature to be confirmed by such expedited measures. Instead, Democrats have insisted on two hours of debate for each nominee, followed by separate, time-consuming roll call votes on each one.”
The report explained it’s a lost cause for Democrats, and they actually have rarely debated the nominees. “But their tactics have slowed Senate business — including legislation — to a crawl.”
“Senate Democrats have shamefully blocked President Trump’s qualified nominees at an unprecedented rate this year, preventing critical Senate-confirmed personnel from effectively running federal agencies and hampering our ability to conduct other essential business for the American people,” U.S. Sen. Cynthia Lummis, R-Wyoming, told Cowboy State Daily.
Barrasso explained the Democrat agenda: “Senate Democrats would filibuster the White House janitor if they had the opportunity.”
In fact, the report noted Democrats have been demanding Republicans fund their pet leftist projects in order for them to cooperate on the nominees.
Barrasso accused Schumer of holding nominees “for ransom.”
Fox reported it’s only the fourth time in Senate history it has gone “nuclear.”
The change now will allow the Senate to vote on Trump nominees in batches.
Exempted from the change are nominations for judicial nominees.
Schumer claimed, without providing evidence, that the Senate would now be voting on “unqualified” nominees.
Thune said enough was enough.
“It’s time to move. Time to quit stalling. Time to vote. It’s time to fix this place.”

‘HE was the fascist’: Kirk shooting suspect facing murder charge that could result in death penalty

(Pixabay)The suspect arrested for this week’s assassination of conservative voice Charlie Kirk, 22-year-old Utah resident Tyler Robinson, is facing multiple charges, including a murder count that could bring on discussion of the death penalty.
The charges were announced Friday against Robinson, who did not have a previous criminal record, to include aggravated murder, felony discharge of a weapon causing serious bodily harm and obstruction of justice.
The official listing of the charges isn’t expected until next week.
But it is the murder count that could result in an option for the death penalty, according to a report at the Washington Examiner.
Authorities said Robinson was arrested after family members called police, after he “either confessed or implied that he assassinated Kirk.”
The Examiner explained, “Authorities said Robinson had become increasingly political in recent months. At one point, he argued with family members about Kirk at the dinner table, saying he was ‘full of hate and spreading hate.’ Robinson also mentioned Kirk was coming to Utah Valley University and objected to his presence on campus.”
Robinson is accused of engraving political and gender-ideology messages on the bullet casings found in the gun.
And authorities noted that Robinson’s roommate showed investigators Discord app messaging outlining what Robinson allegedly did with the murder weapon, a rifle found in a wooded area near the shooting scene.

The report said the messages involved “a need to retrieve a rifle from a drop, leaving the rifle in a bush, messages related to a to visually watching the area where a rifle was left, and a message referring to having left the rifle wrapped in a towel.”
Robinson was booked into the Utah County jail and was being held.
According to the Gateway Pundit, the information about the charges now pending comes from a probable cause affidavit in support of the arrest.

‘Stamp it out’: Commentator calls for ‘end of the American left’ after latest political violence

A prominent voice in American media is calling for an “end of the America left” after this week’s extreme violence, the assassination of conservative free speech advocate Charlie Kirk of Turning Point USA, and the subsequent online chatter praising the murder.
A suspect was arrested early Friday, Tyler Robinson, 22, of Utah, who has been described as hating Kirk and objecting to his presence at a Utah school where he was shot.
The left was condemned in a commentary by John Daniel Davidson, a senior editor at the Federalist, whose writings widely have been used in multiple publications.
“Their cause is revolutionary and inherently violent, and if we don’t stamp it out completely it will consume and eventually destroy this country. We can be a constitutional republic of free citizens or we can be ruled by a leftist revolutionary regime. We cannot be both, which means we can no longer tolerate the violent leftist radicals among us,” he warned.
“So how should the right respond? On the formal institutional level, The Trump administration should dismantle the entire ecosystem of left-wing political activism in America. Antifa and BLM groups need to have their assets seized and donor lists scrutinized. The left-wing billionaires who fund these organizations need to be criminally investigated and charged if possible. Groups tied to transgenderism, Palestine/Hamas, socialism and other radical leftist causes should be targeted using every tool available to the Justice Department and federal law enforcement agencies. The law should be applied maximally to these groups and the individuals who lead them and fund them,” he suggested.
He noted Kirk himself had written months ago about “how assassination culture is spreading on the left.”
Those comments included surveys that 48% of liberals think it would be at least somewhat justified to murder Elon Musk, and 55% said the same of President Trump.
“The left is being whipped into a violent frenzy. Any setback, whether losing an election or losing a court case, justifies a maximally violent response,” Kirk said at the time. “This is the natural outgrowth of left-wing protest culture tolerating violence and mayhem for years on end. The cowardice of local prosecutors and school officials have turned the left into a ticking time bomb.”
The suspect accused in Kirk’s murder “reportedly engraved transgender and antifascist slogans on the bullets in the rifle he used to kill Kirk, confirming what everyone already knew, that Kirk’s assassination was motivated by radical leftist ideology.”
It results from “the deliberate cultivation of violence by the institutional left as a political strategy. That’s what Kirk was getting at in his X post. Those in positions of authority — in public schools and universities, in the media, in the Democratic Party, in Hollywood and Silicon Valley — have for many years encouraged and themselves engaged in violent political rhetoric, and at times openly endorsed political violence. Why? Because violence is at the center of the left’s political project,” Davidson explained.
He warned of “disingenuous” comments coming from the likes of Barack Obama, who had a “close association with violent, unrepentant left-wing terrorists Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn of The Weather Underground,” yet still associated with “mainstream Democratic politics.”
“There is no place in this country for Obama-style political leftism that pretends to abhor violence while tacitly and rhetorically embracing it. It’s not an overstatement to say that the politics of Ayers and Obama and the mainstream political left in America created the shooter who killed Kirk.”
The 1970s violence included nearly “five bombs a day” in American cities, ignited by “left-wing terrorists.”
“Eventually, this rash of left-wing terrorism came to an end — not because the leftist radicals were beaten, or because they mellowed out, but because they won. They infiltrated and took over our institutions, the universities and the media and corporate America, and eventually put one of their disciples, Obama, in the White House,” Davidson explained.
That makes violence “foundational to the left’s entire revolutionary political project going back more than a half-century in this country.”
That’s why, he said, so many left-wingers are “justifying” Kirk’s murder.
“These are the same people who cheered when Trump supporters or vaccine skeptics died of Covid, or celebrated when Hamas slaughtered Israeli civilians on Oct. 7, 2023. Some of these leftists are members of the U.S. House of Representatives, who loudly protested a moment of prayer on Kirk’s behalf as he was dying.”
He warned, “For the left, politics is a religion — not like Christianity but more like Islam. If you submit, you’ll be permitted to live. If you don’t, you must be destroyed.”
If Democrats are “implicated, so be it.”
“It might be that the DNC and the Democratic Party itself need to be destroyed, root and branch. In the near term, Democrat politicians like Rep. Ilhan Omar, who mocked Kirk after he was killed, should be expelled from Congress by the Republican majority,” he said.
‘Zero tolerance’: Pentagon announces policy against cheering Charlie Kirk’s murder

Pentagon officials are now actively monitoring an alarming wave of public celebrations over the assassination of Charlie Kirk and weighing action against any military members or department personnel involved.
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, along with multiple other military and department leaders, said the department is “tracking” celebrations of Kirk’s death among personnel and promised the issue will be “addressed immediately.” In the wake of the assassination, a torrent of left-leaning users on X, BlueSky, and TikTok openly cheered the conservative leader’s murder, with several accounts allegedly tied to military personnel.
“It is unacceptable for military personnel and Department of War civilians to celebrate or mock the assassination of a fellow American,” Pentagon Chief Spokesperson Sean Parnell said in a post on X. “The Department of War has zero tolerance for it.”

Kirk was killed on September 10th allegedly by 22-year-old Tyler Robinson during an event at Utah Valley University (UVU). Robinson allegedly engraved multiple “antifascist” and leftist messages on bullet casings found by law enforcement, Utah Governor Spencer Cox revealed at a press conference Friday.
A family member told authorities that Robinson had “become more political in recent years” and was “full of hate,” Cox said. The relative alleged Robinson talked about Kirk’s plans to come speak at UVU and how much he disliked him.
Sec. Hegseth said on X Thursday that DOD is “tracking” celebratory commentary on the murder, calling it “completely unacceptable.” Secretary of the Army Daniel Driscoll added that posts which “celebrate or mock the assassination of a fellow American are inconsistent with Army values.”

The Pentagon declined to comment further on the matter.

Unhinged: Infamous climate scientist calls Charlie Kirk ‘the head of Trump’s Hitler Youth’

Disgraced climate scientist Michael Mann went on a social media rampage on Thursday against Turning Point USA (TPUSA) founder Charlie Kirk following his assassination, including sharing a post that appeared to liken Kirk to a Nazi.
Kirk was shot and killed on Wednesday while speaking to students at an event at Utah Valley University, leaving behind a wife and two young children. Mann — who was sanctioned by a judge in March for providing misleading information to a jury — reposted a series of attacks on Kirk before walking some of them back.
He amplified several points criticizing liberal New York Times columnist Ezra Klein’s piece, “Charlie Kirk Was Practicing Politics the Right Way,” in which Klein praised Kirk’s commitment to free dialogue and argued they were “on the same side on the continued possibility of American politics,” despite their differences.
“I had my differences with the head of Trump’s Hitler Youth, but we both wanted the same thing: to make America great again,” one post Mann shared read.
Mann later claimed to have “overlooked” the language in the posts he shared.
“I was simply agreeing w/ the (widespread) criticism of Ezra Klein’s claim that Kirk was “practicing politics the right way,” Mann wrote Thursday. “I do NOT approve of the inappropriate & inflammatory language used to describe Kirk (which I’d overlooked). Have deleted.”
“The white on white violence has gotten out of hand,” Mann wrote in a separate post after pictures of the alleged assassin were released. Mann later deleted the post without explanation.
Mann reposted several other posts attacking Kirk, which remained on his account at the time of publication.
“Galling to see [Ezra Klein] claim Charlie Kirk did politics ‘the right way’ by focusing solely on persuading while failing to mention Kirk’s direct involvement in Jan 6 planning and incitement,” read one of the posts. “One can rue his killing while being clear eyed about his actual legacy.”
Mann later posted that he hopes the perpetrator is caught and that political violence is “completely unacceptable no matter what ‘side’ it is on.”
Neither Mann nor the University of Pennsylvania, where he serves as a professor in the Department of Earth and Environmental Science, responded to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s requests for comment.
Mann, who once falsely claimed to be a Nobel Laureate, has a long history of making inflammatory remarks.
The climate scientist suggested in May that “we’re in second amendment territory” if President Donald Trump refused to comply with a ruling blocking his plans to dismantle the Department of Education. Mann also described in August Energy Secretary Chris Wright’s effort to update some climate-related reports as “exactly what Stalin did.”
Mann was sanctioned by a judge in March for conduct “extraordinary in its scope, extent, and intent” during a trial for a defamation lawsuit he filed over criticism of his climate research. A judge found that Mann and his lawyer “each knowingly made a false statement of fact to the Court and Dr. Mann knowingly participated in the falsehood, endeavoring to make the strongest case possible even if it required using erroneous and misleading information.”
Many others have already been let go from their jobs for their vitriolic social media posts regarding Kirk following his murder. Middle Tennessee State University fired now-former assistant Dean Laura Sosh-Lightsy on Wednesday after she wrote on Facebook that she had “zero sympathy” for Kirk. A secret service agent was also placed on leave after telling his Facebook followers to unfollow him if they mourned Kirk’s death, calling the TPUSA founder hateful and racist.
Officials on Friday identified Tyler Robinson, 22, as the suspect in Kirk’s murder. A family friend reported Robinson to authorities on Thursday evening, Republican Utah Gov. Spencer Cox said during a press conference.
