I love to paint. I sell on Etsy. I'm writing a series of nonfiction ebook guides for Etsy and online sellers. I also write inspirational nonfiction (think Anne Lamott with less drugs and more anxiety).

I've been an avid reader since I was a little girl, but now that I have two PreK kiddos reading is more difficult. I generally hide in the bathtub with a book, at least until they find me and start trying to climb in. So short essays work best.

I'm a huge HP, Dr. Who, Sherlock, and Twilight nerd.

What I Learned in January

I’m linking up today with Emily Freeman at Chatting at the Sky to share 4 little things I learned this month. Here’s what I learned in January: 1) Well written magical realism never gets old.  Although I almost always read nonfiction, I read Garden Spells  by Sarah Addison Allen a few days ago. Modern Mrs. Darcy recommended it […]

More of Anna's books…
“All I’m saying is that I don’t want to sort of fall in love with fifty different people. I’d rather find one person and fall completely, deeply in over my head.”
Anna White, The Light and Fallen

“Maybe it’s not about having a beautiful day, but about finding beautiful moments. Maybe a whole day is just too much to ask. I could choose to believe that in every day, in all things, no matter how dark and ugly, there are shards of beauty if I look for them.”
Anna White, Mended: Thoughts on Life, Love, and Leaps of Faith

“I think this is what we all want to hear: that we are not alone in hitting the bottom, and that it is possible to come out of that place courageous, beautiful, and strong.”
Anna White, Mended: Thoughts on Life, Love, and Leaps of Faith

Topics Mentioning This Author

“So I walked back to my room and collapsed on the bottom bunk, thinking that if people were rain, I was drizzle and she was a hurricane.”
John Green, Looking for Alaska

“I just want to spend every possible minute of the rest of my life with you.”
Suzanne Collins, Catching Fire

“Real love has little to do with falling. It's a climb up the rocky face of a mountain, hard work, and most people are too selfish or scared to bother.”
Stacey Jay, Juliet Immortal

“When I say panni here, everyone says Bless you.”
Maggie Stiefvater, Linger

“There are tiny, dirty rabbit holes that you have not been down that I have. I have taken people down into those tunnels with me, and they've never come out.”
Maggie Stiefvater
