Wouldn't it be cool to see a drawing of the Wicked poster entitled Wicket! with Wicket W. Warrick whispering into the ear of Chief Churpa?
Wicket saying Yub Yub in a hot tub is as close as I got.
hello alex, im currently trying to get my hands on as much of your material as i can, but money's kind of tight right now, so i'm in a bit of a dilemma, what should i get first if i already have box office poison and tricked, more box office posion or too
Too Cool to Be Forgotten is probably a more satisfying read, since BOP! More Box Office Poison is a collection of short stories and functions more as an appendix to Box Office Poison.
On the other hand, BOP! is out of print so if you find a copy you might want to pick it up, or risk paying as much as .01 for it on the secondhand market!

Hello Alex, I'm a french producer, and I love your work. I would like to know whether you have ever thought about writing a script for a feature film. Cheers. Kader AOUN
Bonjour!
It has been suggested that I give writing a script a try but everything I’ve ever heard about Hollywood tells me it will be a frustrating experience with very little chance of anything coming of it. I suppose if someone came to me with an idea that they wanted me take a crack at and–more importantly–a bunch of money I would give it a try, but it’s not something I would actively pursue.
Hey Alex, have you checked out the C3PO one shot? It will satisfy all your droid sentience quandaries.
I haven’t but I’m naturally curious. I’ll probably wait until it shows up on the Marvel Unlimited app, my preferred method of reading superhero comics these days.
Hi Alex, I've really enjoyed your works that I've read so far (Box Office/BOP!, Tricked, Too Cool). A big part of that is the naturalistic dialogue -- it seems mostly like just very keen observation, but are there any particular writers that have influence
Hello, Anonymous!
Writers, I can’t think of any that were an influence on my dialogue specifically. My favorite writer is probably Kurt Vonnegut but he’s not famous for his dialogue so I’m not sure how helpful that will be. I think in much the same way artists are encouraged to sketch all the time it’s probably good for writers to pay attention to people talking in real life.
As for places to interact with other aspiring creators, I really don’t know. I’m an old man and the internet changes so quickly that all the suggestions I would have would be laughably out of date.
Good luck!
