Digestate: A Food and Eating Themed Comic Anthology
I contributed a four-page autobiographical story to the forthcoming Digestate: A Food and Eating Themed Comic Anthology—forthcoming, that is, if it gets properly funded via Kickstarter. Here’s a sample page but you can’t see the rest until the book comes out…

THIS IS GOING TO BE GOOD.
I’ve been listening to the Comedy Bang Bang podcast since it started and (along with Never Not Funny) it’s one of my favorite comedy podcasts. I have mixed feelings about the TV show: on the one hand, since I like it I want everyone on the show to be happy and/or wealthy beyond their wildest imaginings. On the other hand, if the show is successful, it will probably mean the end of the podcast. I am conflicted.
I suppose that in the spirit of Sting, if I love something I should “set it free” and wish Hot Saucerman and company success. They’ve already given me years of free entermation and if it means more Andy Daly on TV I’m good. Good luck, CBB!

I love this image but it drives me crazy that the “Let it Be” Beatles should be before the “Abbey Road” Beatles. I’ll happily buy a print of a corrected version!

Watermarks: what’s the deal?
I have been toying with the idea of adding in some kind of “watermark” to things I post. I haven’t been ripped off by anyone or anything but with all the posting and reposting and copying that goes on the on internet I figured it might be a good idea.
Are there any sort of guidelines for this? Is the above example okay or is it too obnoxious?

You’ll notice Paul is the only one looking down, as if at a grave. He’s wearing sandals, the way people are traditionally buried in Thailand. The car in the background is touching Paul’s head, symbolizing the head injury that killed him in that car crash in November of 1966.

Day 2 of my playing around with the new Bamboo tablet. One thing that will take some getting used to is not looking at my hand while I draw. Also, I think my computer needs a bit more power under the hood, since there were times what was one screen lagged behind what my hand was doing (fortunately we’d been talking about getting a new one anyway).
Yes, that’s Dr. Steve Brule. For your art.
Episode 131 - The Ink Banthas Show! Episode II

Mike is on assignment down at the J’ore so Alex returns to the Bantha’s Den for another round of STAR WARS chit-chat, this time with Josh Flanagan. Why do the prequels make people so angry? Is George
Lucas really more machine, now, than man? Speaking of which, what’s the deal with Lobot anyway? If you aren’t sick of STAR WARS yet you will be by the end of this one.
Comments welcome!
