I thought the “monster” on the cover looked kind of pathetic—especially holding that tiny skull. I rarely take much satisfaction with my own drawing but I’m really happy with how her face turned out.

We had the the pleasure of tasting the 2009 Sonoma Syrah with our holiday gatherings, and it was incredibly versatile, a real crowd pleaser with it’s easy red fruit and balanced tannins.
