Gil A. Waters is no one in particular; just a generic middle-class white boy, born in the bowels of the Midwest and raised in a bland East Coast suburb. He is a misanthrope who hungers for human connections. Even though he doesn’t like people all that much, he desperately needs their validation to compensate for the fact that he has no intrinsic sense of self-worth. He finds the world to be a largely uninhabitable place, yet is forced by an accident of birth to live in it. However, he tries to see the humor in his existential predicament.

NeuroVont: A Study in Desperation

There was a time in my life when creativity was its own reward. What more can be said about a classic tale of censorship (and war)? It's brilliant. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the prose was sometimes a bit too flowery and over-the-top for my taste. But that's simply a matter of personal prefe ...more
NeuroVont, Incorporated by Gil A. Waters
"Dark, gritty, action-packed, and debauched - bloody yet not vicious - NeuroVont, Incorporated is about an epidemic of an highly unusual hemorrhagic disease. It is a lot of fun to read. If you like fast-paced stories - this is for you. "

"Calling this book a page-turner is insufficient praise, but it is exactly that. It is phenomenal. The story had me gripped from page one to the final word. This book will be on my highly recommended list forever! "
