Roberta Degnore's Blog - Posts Tagged "romance"

Finally, my earlier published romances are being released. Reworked, I've tried to give these historical stories a modern sensibility.
Strong plots and strong women--all historically accurate.
GOLD DIGGER! and STUCK UP are the first two of ten yet to come. Take a look, give a read, click a "like"--if you like.

Barnes and Noble and amazon for all my books:
--ebook & hardcopy--

Reading The Sheltering Sky and am blown away again by its droll decadence from another age. Bowles' picturing of shabby, unsafe wanderings in places where maybe you shouldn't be is still alluring. Still what I do when I travel.
Bowles allows you to go to times that are gone and to feel all the wonderful places that are never to be the same. And it's all with people you've never known but recognize, and want to linger with for their failings.
