Author, blogger and believer in dreams-come-true, Elizabeth Meyette’s journey has taken her through a career in education to a career in writing. To coin a friend’s phrase, she’s not retired, she’s “refired” and loves her second career as a writer. Love’s Destiny, Love’s Spirit, and Love's Courage are historical romances set during the American Revolution. The Cavanaugh House, Buried Secrets, and The Last Crossing are mysteries set in 1968 in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York. Elizabeth and her husband, Rich, enjoy living in Michigan surrounded by the beauty of the Great Lakes. She credits her muse, Boris, for keeping the stories coming. When Elizabeth is not working on a novel or poetry, she is busy keeping up with her blog Meyet ...more

I guess my favorite written by another author would have to be Claire Beauchamp Randall and Jamie Fraser of Outlander. Oh, the passion! I love how they are so evenly matched in feistiness and courage.(less)

My “One Little Word” for 2021 – Listen

“We have two ears and one tongue so that we would listen more and talk less.” ~ Zeno of Citium as quoted by Diogenes Laertius My “One Little Word” for 2021—LISTEN—grabbed me and held on since last summer when I created my vision board. 1 chapters   —   updated Jul 16, 2016 11:27AM
Description: When Jesse Graham joins the faculty at St. Bartholomew’s Academy for Girls, she is thrust into danger surrounding a mystery, a ghost and too many secrets. All Jesse wants is a simple life teaching at St. Bart’s… and a chance at love with Joe Riley. She soon discovers that lurking behind that simple life is danger. The threat doesn’t just spring from the ghost who haunts the grounds, but from a sinister presence that is not ghostly at all.
