Jamie Canosa is a full time author of YA literature, which she absolutely loves. When she’s not writing or spending time with her family, she can usually be found with her nose in a book. She currently resides in Ravena, NY with her wonderful husband and three crazy kids . . . plus the cats, the bird and the rabbit.

Do you miss Caulder and Jade as much as I do? Well, this weekend I've got a special surprise. Tomorrow I'll be posting a short story here on the blog just for you.     Happy Valentine's Day!    Here's a sneak peek:

“I swear stupidity is contagious and as hard as I try, logic doesn't seem to be the cure.”
Jamie Canosa, Dissidence

“Soft and sweet, and burning like fire all at once, his lips clung to mine desperately. His large hand cupped the back of my head, pulling me even closer, and my arms wrapped around his neck holding him close. His kiss devoured me and left me aching for more.”
Jamie Canosa, Temptation

“I hate this,” he muttered, lowering his forehead until it rested on mine. “I hate him. I hate what he does to you. I hate that I can’t stop him.”

My heart melted as pain registered on his beautiful face. Without thinking, I lifted my hand and slid it along Ethan’s cheek. He covered my hand with his own and nuzzled it softly. Finally, he took a deep breath and opened his eyes again. What I saw in them made my breath falter. There was anger and pain, but above all there was…something else. Something that made my heart beat frantically and my whole body vibrate. There was desire.”
Jamie Canosa, How We Came To Be

“You can build walls all the way to the sky and I will find a way to fly above them. You can try to pin me down with a hundred thousand arms, but I will find a way to resist. And there are many of us out there, more than you think. People who refuse to stop believing. People who refuse to come to earth. People who love in a world without walls, people who love into hate, into refusal, against hope, and without fear.

I love you. Remember. They cannot take it.”
Lauren Oliver, Delirium

“When I said I loved you, I didn't mean for a week, or maybe a year, I meant always, in the good times and the bad, through thick and thin. I'm playing for keeps here, Mags.”
Sherry Gammon

“I love that picture, he admitted softly. I think it's because I love the girl in that picture.”
Rebecca Donovan, Reason to Breathe

“The feel of arms around me, in comfort rather than as restraint or in harmful intent, undoes me. I cry for all the years of mocking and teasing received at the hands of my peers, for having been born to hateful, careless parents. I cry for the fact that this one good, kind boy has joined the game. And That makes me think it’s hopeless to find any goon in anyone, which only makes me cry harder.”
Cindy C. Bennett, Heart on a Chain

“Eastlake High makes Buffy's hellmouth look like a crack in the sidewalk.”
Rachel Vincent, If I Die
